Patriotic Home Tour Grandmillennial Style (Decorate with Me)

Join me as I share the highlights from my amazing trip to the charming island of Nantucket, and then let's get ready for Independence Day with fabulous decor ideas.
While on a trip with my sister to Cape Cod, we took a ferry to the island of Nantucket. Check out some of the highlights in this video of the beautiful island that is full of history and charm.
My trip to Nantucket inspired my Independence Day decor theme of Grandmillenial, focusing on hydrangeas. There's no better place to shop for your fresh flowers than Trader Joe's. I found gorgeous blue hydrangeas there, just what I had in mind. I found beautiful red, white, and blue decor at TJ Max and Home Goods.
I arranged my blue hydrangeas in an ironstone pitcher. Then, I added American flags for a finishing touch. I set the pitcher up on my dining room table atop my runner. Pro tip: You can use a hair straightener to iron the ends of your runner for a polished look.
We framed a Hydrangea American flag watercolor printable from our Etsy shop, which is linked below. Then, we framed blue and white block-printed wrapping paper and layered the frames on the mantel.
We found more decor around the house that matched the Grandmillennial, Nantucket vibe we were inspired by. I cut crepe myrtle flowers from my garden to add to the mantel in a hanging basket dressed up with some blue ribbon.
Now, let's take a 4th of July home tour. You'll notice I had to swap out the dark blue hydrangeas on the dining table for light blue hydrangeas. I also swapped out the crepe myrtle on the mantel for faux white hydrangeas.
On the tour, you'll notice red, white, and blue ribbons added to wreaths and other decor. The weathervane features a gallant horse, stacked red, white, and blue books, dishes, and candles galore. I love changing out my throw pillows by the season or holiday. It's an easy way to update your decor.
We hung metal stars in blue and red, a garland in red, white, and blue from our Etsy shop, which is linked below, and a patriotic screen saver on our television.
You'll notice subtle red, white, and blue touches throughout our home that encompass the grandmillennial style. I hope you enjoyed watching! Happy 4th of July!
