@Iceeeen The instrumentcluster is a pain to use. If you get a faultcode it won't hide in to a small symbol instead it flashes you in the eyes. That low console under the dash. Takes up to much space. Put a bag there and you got no space left
This truck is cute, but the EXC Longline looks a heluva lot better. Personally, I think if EXC longlines were available in the US they'd give KW, Peterbilt, & Freightliner some serious competition.
you can get em, just take a bunch of emissions to get them here, if i truck drive, i will try to get a topline R over here because they are the most beautiful trucks i've ever seen and comfort is amazing, i just wish the R Evo was continued to production, but it wasn't still a good truck though, would of killed alot of volvo's profits on their truck division
should have kept the old 6 dial gauge`s ,2 air ,oil pres ,batt,temp,fuel easy to look at and see any problems before they get serious.i know you can get them on the computer but you can`t clance down and see all vital gauges in one look thats an owner drivers view anyway .
king of the road!!!!! thats why you still have to build the bed when you finish work, plus no scania driver needs telling, but the so called king of the road has a design floor, the sun visor does not cover all of the windscreen. you are not king of the road. you have a nice looking truck, but its not a drivers truck. its very comfortable, a lovely drive, and spacious if you have a top line. if you want to impress the drivers, make the cab 6" longer. i dont see anyone else moving seats to sleep
Great truck I love Scania, they just feel so much more quality like than it's Swedish competitor Volvo which is just grey and boring in my opinion. 9 times of 10 I drive a Volvo truck unfortunately because where I work we have almost only Volvo. When I drive Scania it's just a completely different good experience to drive a truck and it's fun. Please let me work for you ScaniaGroup in Göteborg so I can drive Scania every day :-).
pity they lost the gauge`s on the dash in the old truck you just looked down to see oil psi ,air ,baterrie now you have to mess about with switches on sterring wheel not very safe.
i don't know about you,but where i am working the scania's are the trucks with the less problems and they are very strong,in the other side volvo's,man and mercedes they got too much problems,i am an owner of a man and a scania r500 '05 model,it's a great truck.

Difference was exterior grille, bumpers and the streamline cab. Interior was what you heard in the video together with new buttons on the steering wheel and updated dash/screens

well, that explain everything...Scania has been always great inside apart from beds. Guys-well girls in this case probably never slept on them so they have no clue-Scanias beds are worst crap on the vehicle (don't even understand why they put into the unit the top bed in Highline version:)). Take a look around and make similar to those in MAN or Actross.....before that, spend one night on yours Scani ones (the 2010 r the worst for years with those nonsense lines and very very soft)

@Futur688 The 4 series solution is probalby the worst ever. Bed over the driver. It's fucking cramped. No space to put any stuff when you are in bed. Even trying to use a laptop there is a nightmare. Can't understand how anyone can speak any good of that pice of crap truck. The R are better but it's not good. They are worthless to take care of space. For example why so long betwen the dash and the windscreen. You can't use the dash for any storage.
