So, took me 3 days to see this, but i enjoyed every second of it.That is a GREAT collection and i'm proud that something like that can be found in our country. You need more space, that is for sure and is a good idea to put your hardcovers in the front, because they look amazing. Btw where did you buy the Goblin Slayer figurine from?
Thanks man! Maybe one day we'll enjoy some manga at a convention in our country đ I actually buy all my figurines from a Romanian site called mangashop. Their shipping is top notch. Nothing ever gets damaged. That's the closest thing that we have too a rightstuff. Manga and anime is expensive tho but everything else is duable

Whenever I want a new series I just click a random spot in the video and get one I see. Maybe it's good, maybe it's meh, but it lets me try new things out and grow my collection.

This is the first collection I have seen Black Jack in and now I understand why. I hope to have volume 1-5 in my possession soon, and I hope to ever find more but.... yeah its damn hard to even find one, let alone for a reasonable price *cries*
I gave up and hope for a reprint. Even if a sell a kidney it won't cover the rest of the volumes. At least the episodic aspect of the series works with an incomplete series

I don't like to think about it but as a rough estimate I think that I end up spending $9.5 per volume đ
It's a long video and its also good! You have so many collections, I do t think I could do that. By the ways, I have finished almost all of your videos from the first and they are all great! Lots of manga I have never heard of them.
There are few recommendations I would like to share. First is my hero academy. I think you have heard of it but I didn't see you have this collection, hopefully you buy it and try have a look.
Another is the kindaichi case files. It's a detective manga, it's been stopped for a couple years and started publishing again. And recently the story has changed to a new era, which the detective character has become an adult. I really like this manga, compare to another called case closed or detective Conan, I prefer this one and it's really good if you like solving case fiction.
The last one is captain tsubasa. It's a football manga, and it's really famous and in part of lots of people's childhood. It's also a long story and ongoing manga. If you like football, then I think you're gonna like it.

I will pick up MHA once it gets a boxset. It most probably will as popular as it is.
It looks like Kendachi and Taubasa are OOP. Do you know if those are available digital? I'll keep an eye on ebay for them. I grew up with Tsubasa so that one will be a walk on the memory lane for sure
justafreak unfortunately I don't know if you can find it with digital version, or ebook. I normally read in Chinese version and buy ebook version from Chinese ebook website. And actually, Chinese version for captain tsubasa was published the first part of the story, which is the chapter of primary school only, there isn't any further story that has been published.
I try to search it on Amazon but they are all used and rather expensive, so I think you might have to look at eBay.
I can't help much for that, I'm sorry and hope you can find all of them.

Bit of a strange comment to make but I rarely see men who collect manga have so many different kinds of manga targeted for different people. Or if they do they tend to say something like "It is actually really good", which always feels a bit insulting to me.
I don't know, I like people who collect stuff they like without being awkward about it because it somehow clashes with who they are or identify as.
Also I'm not even a quarter way through the video but I really like the way you talk about your collection!
I know what you're saying but some of that may come from how people end up expressing their thoughts. Take me for example. Since English is not my native language I have, at most, the vocabulary of a 10 yr old đ
Stories are tailored for demographics and that helps since it makes it easier to pick something relatable. Now one of the perks of life is knowledge and the way of achieving that is by exploring. If someone tries something outside of their confort zone I say it's good since they are taking a step into the unknown. That itself may be a good or bad experience, at first, but in the end it adds more to their existence.

Most of my manga is from bookdepository. We don't have that many options here so I always end up scanning for deals on bookdepository and some local stores
What is your thoughts on aposimz? Im thinking of picking it up if its worth it
It one of the easiest to read from Nihei's works since it's a bit more text heavy is something like that can be said for Nihei đ I read the first volume and I like it đ I lie his take on SF and the world that he builds. If you are a fan of his works don't hesitate. Idk if you have Chrunchroll you can try it there. It is available
4.5 years of collecting and i have only 217 volumes. Comparing to most people here (youtubers) i do not get manga just to fill the selfs, i only order what i really wants and will read more then once. But again, everyone do with their money what they want:) and thats okay.

@@justafreak if you have so such big collection, it is hardly that you dont have something that i have, i would recommend Spice&Wolf (manga not light novel) its good, and cover art is beautiful, Black Lagoon (DEFINITLY), D-Gray Man.

It's in the shape of a square from what I membe. If you buy the corner case they send you some metal pieces that are used for alignment and to hold everything together in that position. Now I don't know if these shelfs are the best one out there but I had no issues and they work great for me. Make sure to install them correctly. They also offer glass doors from what I know. Maybe at some point I'll get some to protect the manga from dust
justafreak oh yeah Iâm definitely getting the glass doors, so Without the extended shelves you put on yourself, how many shelves are there? And thereâs 3 big ones and one skinny one, do you have to build all three big ones or can you set up only two and itâll still work fine?
I think i added 2 extra shelves for the current setup to fit in as manny books as possible without too much light getting to the pages. The thin corner one is unaltered since I mostly keep comics there and those are taller than manga. You can build the however you want. It's a modular system

Do you usually read the series once you get them or just collect them if youâve already seen the anime?
I also read them if I saw the anime. Manga adds extra flawor to it. For some of the series I got the manga because I saw the anime years ago and I want a refresh but I don't want to watch N episodes again
