Using a more phonetic approach similar to beatbox might be a good way to approach this. For example using the "B"(Buh) sound would be better for the kick drum and Dum would be better for a tom.
You don't want to use voiced sounds like a "P" or a "T". Having basic understanding of how drum sounds are made can also greatly help. For example using wave (Like a Plosive "B" sound) would result in a better kick drum. For the hi-hat, you should ideally go with Fricatives like "S" or "F". (You did achieve this by using the fricative "C" sound which is similar to the S ). Using the "K" sound seems good for the snare.
As for the melody, it was amazing! You can just about use any vowel sound in this, and you delivered perfectly!
