Does the Roadtrek Pivot have the Auto Start for engine generator for when the batteries get low? also wondering how the pivot keeps its batteries warm that is stored underneath?

Thanks for watching! A few years ago Roadtrek removed the auto start feature as part of their build. Shortly there after they increased their battery size which they felt eliminated some of the need for the auto start function. It can still be added aftermarket should a customer desire it. Roadtrek uses a proprietary battery that is under the van and has a self heating system to protect it in cold temps.

Auto start , would that be something done by Ram or Roadtrek and approximately what would it cost extra?

IF you wanted the auto start to activate based on the voltage of the RV batteries, an RV dealer would install. It has been awhile since we have done an voltstart, but I would guess it is probably about $2K.

Thanks for watching! I am unaware of any plans for an AWD Ram chassis at this time. Currently the only AWD models are from Ford and Mercedes.

I would have to believe that Hell would "Freeze Over" first. If that ever occurred, I am sure it would then take 10 years to iron out problems, before they abandoned the whole thing.

This is a 4 cell Volta system that is 12800 watt hours running at 48V. It is the largest pack available in a travato.
