hello @ 2:30 how do you do the combo move to clutch claw? and DPS wise is the combo you're doing where you back step to forward step attack better than the back-step then charging up to fly and attack down? Sorry I've been playing gunlance for 99% of base game and Iceborne and im currently testing SNS after seeing how quickly you can sheath and use items.
Edit: my bad I thought you were talking about claw move in particular, the one I did around 2:30 was part of the perfect rush combo. That was the last hit of the combo and it is very useful in breaking parts and dealing massive damage. I'll leave the old comment too as they are useful to learn. Claw uppercut, you can do this by rolling and pressing aim button when your weapon is out. In some cases it may seem like I'm doing it from sheathed position but I'm bringing my weapon out mid roll by giving guard input and cancelling guard animation by rolling real quick.

How to do backrolling after fall from falling shield combo? I alwys backhop to wrong direction
