I was looking for a good, affordable 60% Keyboard. I wanted it to be cheap but decent since It will be my first mechanical kb.
I was really "scared" of watching videos or reading reviews because there was a lot of info to take in. Caps, switches, brands, layouts, sizes, RBG, sounds, springs... I am so glad I stumbled onto your channel. It helped a lot with some aspects of my search, and I finally decided to get this one since I want the arrow keys and would appreciate BT connectivity.

Very good and detailed review. Agree 100% on what you said. Is nice, wireless and on budget. Not a fan of stencil typography. At the end the question mark key kills it.

Hi. Great video and subbed! Do you know if the HK Gaming PBT pudding keycaps will fit this layout? I believe the set has a few extra caps such as ISO enter key, smaller shift and a few others.

Certainly an interesting keyboard; however, the sacrifices it makes for those dedicated arrow keys makes it a non-starter for me. I was seriously considering it until I saw they had moved the "/?" key out to allow for the arrows.
Love this layout. Question mark I dedicate to right shift.
You can switch the left shift and the /? Key so that it would be more convenient
Just wondering if the battery is rechargeable? Great Video btw
My question mark key is on my =+ key with tap&hold for 0.2 secs, having the question mark on your field of vision and not below, just like with the apostrophe is a huge plus to me and since that's how you end some phrases it's no problem to me to take my time in remembering where it is. if you are going to use this keyboard I recommend you map the /? key to delete key and use one of those fancy red 1u delete keys and then use / with tap and hold with the -_ key and ? with tap and hold with the =+ key. it takes nothing to get used to, I assure you.

I cannot get the bluetooth to work on this board at all lol. I've seen a few videos including yours now that got it to work and i'm doing the exact same thing and nothin! still a great keyboard for the price though. i'm editing my own review as we speak. keep up the helpful and informative videos!
i have exactly the same thing. my computer wont even detect it when plugged in using USB
@@danielhilditch8761 that may be due to the weird mode switch thing this keyboard has. It was weird to me as well. Try plugging it in and pressing FN+Tab
what switches would you recommend for people who play games but also do school work and need to type? i like the smoothness of the red switches but i also think the versatility of brown switches are cool. I’m not too sure how browns feel though :(
I know this is 2 months old, but I just purchased this keyboard on the back of this review. Your channel is excellent. I don't think I've seen people go into so much depth on a keyboard review, and gamers like me, who avoid mainstream brands because I refuse to pay for their name, appreciate great reviews of great, alternative products. i write on spanish, so the layoout doesnt affect me that much, i really like it, the red switches do help a little bit for gaming
You can change the binds on the keyboard software. I dont think the question mark is such a big deal at all.

So I was swapping my AWSD for gatheron red and noticed that I got the "newest" Snowfox, it has yellow stabs instead of black and 5 pin. This keyboard was so worth it lol

I got this keyboard and i 100% recommend it. I got it with the brown switches though and im underwhelmed, but other than that its perfect

I was thinking on getting browns 'couse I like the feedback of touching the caps. What do you mean overwhelmed?
@@Reclamadcr the tactile bump is really underwhelming on lots of brown switches--especially gaterons and the very infamous MX browns lol--but the outemu browns seem to actually have a pretty damn good balance between smoothness and tactility judging from reviews. of course we'd all still like to see better tactility like on most blue switches but even then the outemus and the kailh browns seem to be the best brown switches that aren't $100 for a set lul

I must be missing something. I did the same thing you did. Turned the back switch, and then turned it back. Hit the function key. Key's did not flash for me to hit q or the other four profiles. I also tried hitting fn and q at the same time. Not at the same time but holding them both. I really love the feel of it and all. I just wish I could get the keyboard setup. This was going to be just for my tablet, But since I have profile options. It will also now be for my pc. If I can ever get the bluetooth working. sigh. lol.
Edit. I finally got it down. Man that took some effort. Once the bt thing happened. Then it was a hole new mess. But it's working. I couldn't see the software link in the description. Just places to buy it. Myself I went to google blah blah blah software download. Came up with nothing.
Im not sure if you figured this out but you have to switch it into bluetooth mode first. You do this with fn + tab. Then you do fn + q or whatever. This tripped me up for a while to but I hope this helps
@@p33jim22 Thanks I already did figure it out. Idk if it auto switches profiles or not. But it seems too. Idk if its just me thats having a distance issue with the bkuetooth. But its distance doesn't seem far at all.

Hi! I like a lot your videos and I was hoping you could tell me, Wich one would be better as my very first mechanical keyboard, this one, a gk61 with optical switches, or the sk61 also with optical gaterons they would be with gateron reds everyone :)
A lot of people would say GK61, but I like this board more. The stabilizers are good and the keycaps feel nice

Don’t buy the blitz wolf the top row of keys sometimes break. I don’t know how to explain it but it does the f1-12 keys instead of 1-10- and +it’s like the function key is held down and I don’t know how to reverse it
Also encountered this problem but i think this is a hidden feature. Just press fn + ctrl + L to switch from number keys to function keys and vice versa.

I have this keyboard and it is not comfortable for me to type. The profile is too high, with a question mark on the right edge, no standard Delete key, and a smaller dimension for the right Alt key
Hey should i get the gk61 with brown switches or the bw-kb1 brown switches i have heard some reviews about the gk61 making some rattle noise when it gets moved in a certain way so idk how i feel about that.
Depends on you, they're both pretty similar except for arrow keys

the drivers are on blitzwolfs website in the drivers section, there should be a picture of happy people wearing headphones. When you scroll down you should eventually find a picture of the keyboard, after clicking the picture you should be displayed with the new driver download links. I am not certain mine has not arrived yet but I am 99 percent sure this is not hot swappable. You would have to desolder this to change the switches. Hope this helps😊
