I laughed when you said a few adjustments to the image, that amount of editing would take me an hour to do at least, merely because I would have to stop and start the video so many times 😂😂, i would be great to get a slightly slowed down version of a tutorial like this for us newbies to the editing game, but excellent work non the less
You can use the playback speed options in youtube for these reasons
@@Windsorsillest Yeah, just click on the settings 'gear' and drop to 50 percent -- He may sound drunk but you'll still hear what he's saying..... although I don't know if speed adjustment can be done on a TV CZcams app.....
What’s nice about the nifty-50 is that it hones your skills in handling the art of the sneaker zone and slowing down your photography and taking time to compose all aspects of your capture.
Way too much trouble for a mediocre outcome when you can just quickly mask the sky in an hdr and make much better adjustments IMHO
I'm a very amateur photographer who enjoys shooting into the sun then struggling with Lightroom's 'flat' HDR to get what I want. Your demo, along with the great overall production of this video has earned you a sub!
You can do same on lr on masks
Amazing video. I totally loved the scenery and the way you showed the EDF... Also I really liked the color grading used on the videos...
This is awesome Mark, thanks for sharing - clearly explained and beautifully edited. The kids in my school are going to love watching and learning from this!
I was Hastings about 6 weeks ago and wish I'd walked out further onto the beach in front of that view, definitely missed out there.
Arrrgggghhhhh - so good.
Great video Mark! Learn something new everyday. Will apply the Exposure Blending in my Future Drone Photography work.
Amazing, I'll have to watch that about 30 times to get my old head around what you did there...looked like witchcraft
Excellent video. I LOVED THE SPOT!!!
I have to say, I really enjoyed your video. First time seeing your work. Your techniques make sense to me and the way I see things.
Beautiful tutorial Mark. Thanks for sharing your awesome workflow. Incredible final image, many greetings from Italy.
I have a number of ways I exposure blend. Thought I have seen them all. But gotta admit using color range selection and painting in is new to me. Gonna play with it.
Absolutely awesome work.
I love how you explain every detail.😍
Looks like a cool place to shoot Mark - I've heard good things so shall have to make a trip down there
Dude. This is next level stuff. Many thanks: subscribed.
Thanks Ben and welcome!
Beer, Sidmouth, paignton, Brixham, Dartmouth...... you think that where you are is pretty try this small fishing ports 😉.....
Thanks again Mark for helping me improve my photography 🙏
Fantastic tutorial Mark, you just gained a follower..!!
Thank you so much! Learned a lot from your PS mini tutorial
Always fantastic looking pics!
I love your blending technique!
Wow you make it look so easy! Nice tip there thanks for that!
Wow, I am so happy that I own my nifty fifty lens. This video pumps me for shooting but there is a lockdown in my country :|. Anyway thanks for uploading great video great explaining excellent skills and sorry for my garbage English :D :D
wow that edit was fantastic! thx for the tips
A great edit Mark👌🏽
phenomenal...thank you
STUNNING!!!! 👌🏻
The 50mm is so underrated yet powerful lens. I forked out a fortune for my 24-70 but still tend to bring only my 50 with me most of the time. As women say size doesn't matter unless it's small and the 50 is just small enough to carry it all day 😂
Absolutely loved this. Left me a bit lost as I have never used photoshop, only Lightroom. I’ll be watching this a few times and even writing out the instructions. Do you have more content for pure beginners like me?
I have been here many times every summer since I bought my first Nikon d3200and stayed till midnight shooting and learning how to use my camera.
It's a nice and peaceful place and totally different from Brighton.
Wow, great video. Thanks for sharing.
omg, amazing tutorial! Great video! thanks :D
Nice. Never been totally comfortable with HDR, too out of the can. This is more like old school burning and dodging. In the darkroom, where it belongs.
Was waiting for a low to high angle on those first two boats!
Nice and beautiful. Because inspiring and useful for me as a professional composer. Many thanks🙏🌹❤🌹
Super complicated but good !
Great idea and what a stunning result from the original photo thanks for sharing big like from me bud
Thanks 🙏
Awesome stuff mate! I have to say that came out gorgeous - if i may say so though, I actually absolutely love the look of it when you cropped in at 9:36 - still great DOF and the boats highest points seem perfectly on thirds. . . Blown away my man! 🤯 👌🏼 Gonna have to try this way instead of stacking in LRC.
You are sir
Simply the best 👌👍
The last image - how did you stand perfectly still for 10 seconds? I always end up looking like some jittery ghost hahaha!
followed your process was able to achieve good result. thanks
Super sir. Thank u
You should be on the stage with this show boss, that was mind blowing. I thought I was getting my head round PS then this happens. I love the way you compare merge with this. Lucky for you I am going to have to watch this video many many times. While I am at it, your videos are also very clever, I imagine there is a lot of planning to get that many angles, or do you have a film crew?
I only have an IPhone 12 at the moment but what an amazing place!!!
Hello bro I am from India
I love your editing skills 😉
Soo inspire mee
Good video.
Just wondering whether it would be easier to achieve the same result using the HDR as a base image for local adjustments?
Using HDR is simplier in the field. Once HDR is merged, you have all the info to produce your desirable landscape.
Magical 🙏👍
That's amazing
My 30mm Sigma on my A6400 is my fave, same reason really - low light performance and about 45mm effective length
Great video
Love it bro, I'm new, just bought 1,8 50mm, love it so much, btw, beautiful place :)
Great purchase 😎
Hi sir really love your method but I'm an iPad user and new to Photoshop. can you make a video teaching exposure blending on ipad ? I checked some of other CZcamsrs, they just don't do a good job. Some of them don't even have the creative.
❤🔥
Love you ❤️❤️
Wich nifty fifty you got for the sony? Looked like a little canon efs one. Its the first lens i got when i started out. Still use it today many many years later!
What brand tripod is that? Please share. Thank you in advance.
Benro tripod!
Great pictures Mark! Thanks for sharing your workflow. Wish I could do at least half of that. 😅
Do you prefer the 50mm 1.8 over the 55mm 1.8? Any advantages or disadvantages between both?
Thanks! Much appreciated. Not much between the two really!
hi sir.. how did u capture the last image named moonlight ? f4 , 10sec.? without blur
Muy bien
Second comment here
there are a bazzilion ways to make this easier and actually better 😅
Wow, loved all this. I was so lost technically because I don’t own a camera just a smart phone. But loved your finished masterpiece.
Hey thanks Michelle! Hopefully you’ll get a camera soon. Best thing you’ll buy!
I got a 35 mm 1.8 for my Nikon D5600. Could that replace the Nifty Fifty as this sensor is a crop sensor ?
It's almost exactly the same (equal to 52.5mm on full frame) 👌
@@vodkanarancs1 Thx for the info :-)
you are awesome, take your wife and come in USA to have some photography fun!
Maybe one day!
Last photo ,10 sec without motion for subject how ?!
a kinda like it, but for me is waaaay too much. Bit more a like a fake'ish - looks more graphic than picture. Dont get me wrong, the tutorial is absolute perfect. But the HDR effect seems to be odd.
Yea you lost me, you make it sound too difficult
