I like that in almost EVERY episode of Hear U Out, we see that her guests feel comfortable (but not too casual) enough to reveal some bits of their personal or work-related anecdotes we never knew happened or existed. A skill that is so rare not only among local hosts but we do not see in foreign talk-show hosts as well- who often are guilty of being disrespectful to their interviewees. It also shows how much hard work Yifong put into her research on her guests' past work and understanding of their personalities to produce the top-quality variety talk show. Well Done Singapore and Yifong. Just perfect!

It's so weird to see these celebs talk about starting work at 18. I was already under a lot of pressure and had to get a part time job at 16, because most kids my age, I'd say most Singaporeans even, did it even earlier.

That director needs to learn more about people. There are many different ways on how a person portrays for different emotions. Just like Shaun, when I get really pissed and angry at someone/situation to the point where I'm literally shouting, my eyes will also just involunteerily turn red and just tear. It's just my natural body reaction.
Speaking about colleagues he's most comfortable working with, I'm honestly shocked that he did not mention Jeanette Aw despite both of them having acted as a couple a couple of times on TV.
