Mounting a charge from the back of the grid! CSCC Jaguar Championship / MG Trophy Oulton Park Race 2

After a spectacular breakdown in Race 1 at Oulton Park caused by a shorting ignition coil, it was to the back of the grid for Race 2- and so began the charge! Great fun working through the pack, including one of my favourite overtakes ever on Ieuan Spooner around the outside of Shell Oils, and eventually I found myself behind Michael Holt with whom I'd been separated by fractions of a second in qualifying, and so it played out that our pace was near identical and I followed the X300 home for 6th overall and 1st in class. The race came to a premature end after Rick Walker's dramatic crash at Hislops. Loved this race, love this circuit!
