- This is a recap video about approaching the large controlled (traffic lighted) and uncontrolled roundabouts in and around Isleworth/Twickenham driving test area. If you have already encountered some of these roundabouts and are struggling then this video is to help you get more familiar with the driving test zone. It will show you the directional signs that you will see and give you reference points to easily identify particular roundabouts. There's also advice get into the correct lanes and deal with roundabouts with much more confidence and hopefully give you more confidence when going for your driving test
Can't express enough how grateful I am to you for making this! Just what I needed!
Been looking for this precise video laid out - thanks!
Glad you like the video. Good luck with your driving test
This is what I have been looking for. Thank you very much!
This was very helpful! Very clear and easy to understand. Thank you!
Excellent so helpful
Absolutely great work well described 👍👏👏👏
Useful but also don’t forget to mention your indications
Thanks for your comment. The video is intended to be a recap for the roundabouts and not a tutorial. It’s to help candidates that have already visited the roundabouts in the test area to get more familiar with them.
Superb
So so grateful for this thank you so much omg
So helpful! Thanks a lot! 👍
Can you make more videos for iselworth roundabouts and different routes
When you’re doing a 3rd exit on the hospital bridge roundabout and once you’ve advanced from the right only lane, do you have to signal when moving to the left hand of the two lanes? 12:29
Hi. Thanks for the question. You can indicate left immediately after exit 2 if you feel anyone would benefit from it
I notice that when you turned right at Hospital Bridge Roundabout, you went over the chevron lines. I thought this is not allowed in the highway code.
Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and make a comment. The “chevron” area you mention is absolutely fine to drive in as the lines are broken, this means that you can enter them when turning right if it is necessary and safe to do so. Please check the link I’ve provided and see rule 130 www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code/general-rules-techniques-and-advice-for-all-drivers-and-riders-103-to-158
@@logicdrivingschooloffulham6397 Thanks for the clarification. Overall really good video. Very helpful.
My instructor told me that the Apex roundabout isn't used, is it definitely in the boundary?
Yes, Apex Corner roundabout is definitely used. I’ve been coming to this test centre since 2008 and have had a number of students do this roundabout on their test. They use the Homebase car park nearby for bay parking also
hi what time was the video taken ?
All of the footage was taken early morning, around 7am
@@logicdrivingschooloffulham6397 thanks for the reply do you think they'll be busy around 12
Traffic is usually pretty light at that time. Before 9:30am is busy
