Hmm one use puzzle unless you have more balloons to replace the popped one with.
It came with a bunch of small, blue balloons!

According to all known laws of puzzling, there is no way that a FLEB should be able to solve. It's brain is too small for its giant challenge. The FLEB, solves anyways, beecause puzzlers don't care what people think.

its not bad but the solution was a bit easy its just to find a needle that isnt that hard to find

I love this puzzle! I was expecting some sort of mechanics inside as usual, the little balloon is a really refreshing change from what we mostly see in puzzles. Cool!

FLEB The room one has a box like that but its not circle.. i bet you thought why i said "The room reference". its because in the room one, to solve the box you need to look at corners and edges just like that puzzle you do but instead of corners you look to the side of it. My point is that puzzle have a look alike on that box on the room one. Keep up the good work and stay awesome so Cya

Such a creative and ingenious puzzle! So to reassemble,you much have another balloon blown up enough to fit & place inside I suppose?
When you put the pick in the slot and touched the hidden balloon, what made you say "I should keep pushing" instead of "I should back off and not break anything"? How do you know when to use force and when not to?

Another great puzzle Fleb! I love the gimmick but I have a question: since it wasn't addressed in the video, is there a way of resetting the puzzle with another balloon to allow for someone else to solve?
Yep! The puzzle has a bunch of balloons hidden on the inside, so you discover them when you solve it!

They're aspects of the puzzle not used to solve it. I tried to highlight what stood out to me when I saw the puzzle. I think they're used to hold it together?

I liked this puzzle. It's my style. Like the geocache puzzles I leave to the world to discover, the answer is somehow contained in an aspect of its name...

This is the first time I saw a mechanical puzzle that use other substance (balloon) beside what's seen at the unsolved puzzle (wood, metal, etc.). Is this kind of thing common? Very interesting puzzle by the way.
It depends on the type of puzzle! Overall though, I would say it's fairly uncommon, only because it's hard to think of these types of mechanisms. Leave it to Jean-Claude Constantin to figure out how to use a balloon in a puzzle!

To reset this box, you have to get another balloon! The puzzle came with a bunch of them.
I don't have many puzzle boxes, actually. You probably own a lot more than I do!

-Cosmic Express
-Limelight
-Circles
A lot of those have iOS/Android versions.

Do you have to replace the balloon every time you want to solve it? How do you get the balloon inside?
You do have to replace the balloon inside, but it came with a bunch of balloons that were stashed inside the puzzle, which you got when you solved it.
To get the balloon inside you had to hold the pin up and wedge it under. I'm now realizing that I should also probably film the reassembly of the puzzle when it's not just reversing the steps.

Yes I managed with friction to get the balloon to hold the pin up, but can't see how to blow air in the balloon and keep it there for some time. I even tried to put another balloon on the outside of the mouth of the first balloon to prevent air from flowing but that did not work. Amazing how this is the difficult part and no one discusses it. I even read people telling you could put water inside the ballon, I don't see how this helps sealing it ?

how to open and puzzle fast get a hammer and hit it as hard as you can. good job you opened the puzzle!
And just like a bee, it stings only once, as you cannot fill the balloon with air anymore.
But it comes with replacement balloons inside the box! So much like a bee, you can take out its stinger and replace it? ...with another stinger?

Great vid Fleb! I didn't like this puzzle. I felt like the glue holding the big splinter was lazy and the solver didn't have to work for it. That's where the joy is I think, in the work. It's cool to puncture a balloon to get into it though.

hit it against the table. If the air pressure inside the balloon is not to high, the bolt should fall down for a short period of time, allowing you to open the lid if you time it right. (without popping the balloon)

That seems too straightforward. You're right that it's an interesting mechanic, but initially this looked like it might be a much more robust puzzle.
Yes, you can only do this puzzle once, just like how a bee can only use it's stinger once..
Wouldn't this puzzle solve itself if you just let it sit for a couple of days? since balloons tend to slowly deflate...

I would probably have gone to the kitchen and grabbed a tooth pick ... poked at the hole for b"o"x and it would have popped ... I would have missed the poker "glued" to the box.

My first thought was to get a tooth pic and poke the beebox. Would have that been cheating? I love puzzles.
It wouldn't have been cheating, but these puzzle almost always provide all the tools as part of the puzzle, so it may be against the spirit of the puzzle.
But really, as long as you're having fun, I think people should do whatever they like to solve the puzzle!

I forgot to mention this in the video, but the puzzle actually came with a bunch of balloons, so you could reset it 7-8 times or so. That's how I reset it for the video!
I suppose you could also buy more balloons, but that's kind of a pain.
