So true, started to listen to Him when I was in my teens and it impacted me and my friends so much. Now 10 years later I recently added ‘I’m not who I was’ to the soundtrack at my job. Grateful for the voice he brings to this generation

Love the tune and the vibe. Lyrics wise it seems a bit a shallow- someone who is not Christian would just hear this message as a green light to do whatever they want because it's human nature and it's okay to make mistakes. Mistakes is one thing but what about sins that need forgiving, repenting of and having your heart renewed?
It would be lovely if lovely tunes like that were backed up with more Biblical messages so it's not misleading to those who are not in the faith or don't know the gospel.
Hm. That's a good point, I never noticed that! I hope some people don't take that advice and then do something bad and when they're having pointed fingers at them they may just take it as a lie and won't listen.
This song is full of theological inaccuracies, not to mention grammatical errors. I wish people would read their Bibles more often.
