all the smart watches i could get today... i just got my brand new CA53W-1 after 25 years of my first ca53, had the ones with remote control but they re not selling those on most popular places, had my fun at airport and family gatherings lowering volume or switching channels back in the day.
The model with calculator and remote control is the discontinued Casio CMD-40. They are very expensive now because it is considered a collectible. However, Casio DBC32 is still made new and affordable. It is also a calculator and larger than the CA53W.
@@rmenga Exactly, i dont know why they ve stopped making that one, im happy with my new CA53W like the ir remote on the CMD-40, i liked that watch a lot seem like burglars did too, back in the day they tried to mug me for that watch. i beat up four dudes and kept my watch. sold it a month later
Nice! I have been wondering how to reveal diagnostic screen on my vintage Casio CA-901 for ages. Maybe time to do some experiments. Just scared a wrong combo might self destruct my watch. 🙈😄
Mine is stuck at something similar to this diagnostic screen after my friends forcely pressed few buttons randomly how do I get it working normal again.
Stopwatch hours. If you leave the stopwatch running for an hour and press ÷, it will then show 01 to indicate 1 hour of running time has passed. The stopwatch will count up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds.
It does nothing on my CA-53W. I tried both (A) holding the lower button while doing the presses on the upper button and (B) releasing the lower button before pressing the upper one.
I thought they all did that 😂 - used to do it when I was a kid - I'm on a vintage roll right now and keep buying old watches from my past. It's turning into a terrible habit! 🤦♂

Another secret, the buttons were pushed with pencil top erasers, thats why fingers are to big.

Too bad. I have a Casio CA-62 (10 digits) that I bought before 1990 and the screen test doesn't work that way on it. But the watch works perfectly.

By the way a 24 timer would have suited the profile of this watch much more than the dual time.

You have to hold the lower button all the time… hold bottom button then press and release the top button twice then release the lower button ✅
