Tears fall down my face for all of the children that don't get to experience the simple beauty of this Earth. Instead they are locked in the comfortable yet hollow cages of conventional modern society. An atrocity of the soul. I pray that more parents break away and shine light for the kids to follow in the footsteps of the old ways of the Earth. They certainly are in my community as am I through teaching outdoor programs. We need to do this together though, in all of our communities. Blessings to those that have also come this way and even more for those who have not yet.
I love seeing her grow. Just discovered Grandfather in January and am an inspired follower since. Your videos are nourishment to me living in Boston but with rural roots. And they have provided me a way to show my son how life could be and thankfully IS for you there. Thank you for documenting and sharing.
This is the nicest video I ever saw in my life, so to all Nordic folks everywhere, stand very strong! Thank you from an American of Norwegian descent. 💜 :)
This was realy cute! Remember me of my childhood. I still hawe an old hand coloured photography after my grandmother picturing my gandfathers brothers horse and her baby.

Lovely video. I am sure your daughter (and perhaps even her children) will enjoy seeing this wonderful memory, time and time again. Well done. Wishing you all happiness, health, and prosperity!

Yes, we prepare hay for the winter. Usually in June or July we have hot and dry weather, with occasional rain, it depends on the year, some summers may be rainier than others, but still, we have atleast one or two hot and dry weeks. In that time we prepare, collect and storage hay for the winter.
wild and tame are not mutually exclusive terms. certainly not in reference to horses who have a 40,000 year history on this planet, and lots of it around humans. guardianship or ownership? if horses are allowed to belong to their own true nature, rather than to a human, they will seek out human companionship and behave tamely and predictably whilst having complete freedom of movement. they are gentle and curious even though they are big and powerful
Ehh te Latvijā jau cilvēki nenovērtē to kas mums ir,tepat acu priekšā katru dienu.. Sasodītās valdības nāk un iet,bet mūsu zemīte te paliek. Patīkami vērot tavus video.
I enjoy your videos and documentaries a lot, but just wondering, do you ever show girls or women actually working? Not cooking, cleaning, I mean doing physical labor. I can only speak to my own experiences, but I feel like part of respecting women is allowing, even expecting, us to do hard work.
Put the food in the palm of your hand and keep your fingers away, horse bites suck, for a little kid with small fingers, I bet it could be catastrophic. Maybe those horses are gentle but some are just a$$holes.

What bitterness lies in the hearts of 27 people who disliked this? Your daughter is beautiful, as are the horses. Thank you.
Beautiful. Little sanity in this crazy, broken world.
Reject modernity embrace tradition.
Bra… are you… “our guy”?
It's not correct. Use modernity to embrace tradition.
Hard, while watching vids on youtube? We'll do our best though.
Lovely to see a brumby

it can't be actually wild? it looks pretty tame, must belong to someone

Don't let the small hat tribe subvert you.

And why does knowledge not discern this ?
Pretty Sean but the horses are no more wild than the girl.

Please, start having children. Stop reminiscing of our forefathers. Or better yet, honor and remember them by Being a father. Don’t be the weak link.
