There will be difficulties and disagreements within your family, no matter how close you think you are, and your family will just experience life, but life has to go on, especially when you are about to lose a loved one.
Sometimes there are facts that come up in your mind that may take years to surface and for you to deal with, even years after that person is gone. Let the Lord have access to those places and let Him help you clean them out. The first step is to face that fact for what it is, not what you wish it was. Those sharp words did wound you and they may ruin your life if you don't come to grips with them, confront them, and kick them out of your life and out of God's temple. This may not work the first time. It may be a battle. If the battle goes too long, you may need to seek the help of a caring professional counselor or therapist.

The Goodman's inspired me, especially vestal. I am a 56 year old crippled half blind man. But God changed my Life and Saved my soul. The Goodman's were Great Singers.

People liked too see the Happy Goodman family in person because they wanted to hear Vestal's strong voice and her beehive hairdo. And the housewives drug their husbands along.
They lived in my hometown. I remember delivering furniture to their home as a teenager. Grapevine road I go to church on that road even today

The Goodman's got famous by adding the steel guitar and louder faster music...and Vestal's hairdo and gowns. And by being big and fat attracted a large audience too.
