    I'll be honest, I've never thought of wearing face protection when I'm steaming something, I guess I'm going to have to go get a face shield now. Thank you for the tip.

      Most of the time I don’t need it but my depth perception is poor and I appreciate when I get too close to the output that the shield fogs up instead of getting a jet of steam in the face. (Which I know from experience hurts.)

    I have had to occasionally use a descaler, but that's my personal iron.

      I can imagine a circumstance, where I would need to lose it enough to use a Descaler, but given the circumstances, that is less of a headache/bother than trying to locate a steady source of distilled water.
