That’s because they’re the worst of the worst. They’re the people who are stuck at the bottom because they blame everyone but themselves, and when it’s always someone else’s fault they don’t have a reason to improve. As long as you maintain the mentality of “what could I have done better” rather than “it was everyone else’s fault I lost” you’ll see a major improvement in no time.
my man i'm sorry to tell you but the only thing you can do is try and improve your knowledge (only slightly) and get out of the shit rating where everybody blames everything on everybody else a good player will suggest a better tactic and explain you why a bad player will tell you you suck then /logout

ret went from being the weakest and squishiest to like the biggest dealing dps & tankiest class, honestly that needs to stop, even if you outplay both enemies and the healer, he can just braindead survive no problem if he's the target, 4 button rotation, survivability like a actual tank and hard self heals, it's cringe to see that shit

The solo pvp experience is devastating, you play like the biggest sweater, waiting five games half an hour only to get rating if it goes good +0-20 and then once u dont now what u did wrong you are on the top of the overall damage made killing blows cced the hell out of everyone and get -79. So you wait 4 hours and play 3h only to lose.
The point system is literally bullshit.
Realizing that there was a mistake on your part is the first step, isolating what that issue was and working on it is the next. The issue with looking at overall damage is that you aren't looking at other key factors that you had in the game that may have contributed to your losses.
It's a learning curve just like any other games.

dr is probably the most dickish mechanic in arenas especially for new players since nowhere is it explained or even mentioned in the game itself

Ret isn’t the problem, I still kill them, people survive their dmg with efficient cd trades and cc. The overall problem is the current state of burst that everyone or most everyone has. And the amount of cc and micro cc in the game. A lot will change in 10.1
Ret is still wheelchair, and frost mages can kite them easily. If you cant reach your enemy, ret op dmg wont do nothing 😁

DH and warrs r the biggest noob classes. They have like 4 buttons, constantly line healscm, cc on DR and consistently overlap defensives and this is even at 2.2K rating, they just get to that rating from having stupid dmg
Indeed, so many edgy kids are playing those 2 classes, and the dmg is braindead. Even with that dmg warrior can deal, they got mortal strike

Game is the problem - every patch there is yet another completely broken spec or few - no serious pvp game would allow disbalance of that sort - anytime you think you’re learning and playing better - yet another broken to hell spec pops up one shoots ppl and ruins PvP for everyone. It seems fairly clear that PvP is like some mini game for blizzard not worth looking too much into

Its just stupid ! Ive been playing healer for so Long……. Its super boring in solo… ppl die in a stun…. Ive done decent rating in 3s, but SS is Allmost not possible to get above 2200 if your not a pro… and right now with ret pala, i just Quit! Not funny..

Hahaha Man I predicted this- the crying from the community immediately when ret becomes viable. MM still one shotting people in the opener, Assa rogues rotting players down through defensives and healing, Arms global’ing people through a single spear. This has been going on all expansion, but the second ret becomes viable it’s “game unplayable. Mode dead”
That's because you can easily live through MM and Assa after they got nerfed, and they don't live forever. Ret on the other hand now has too much self healing, bubbles, lay on hands and shorter Wings cooldown while still doing incredible amounts of damage. Your opinion doesn't equate facts, sorry.

@@BrokenCalculator like there isn’t a priest in every lobby to mass dispel bubble lol, or a ms and dampening to negate the rets healing.
@@trenbolone9879 Doesn't matter if there is or isn't. Not every bubble is going to be dispelled and they can bubble three times. Dampening won't negate enough healing as ret damage will significantly increase the speed of the matches. Stop trying to justify something that is clearly, CLEARLY broken out of it's mind and it needs to be tuned properly. Sorry but you just aren't winning a debate on a topic that 90% of the PvP players already agree on.

I have been spamming SS all week because this is the first times Ret has been viable all expansion. I am the only Ret in any lobby I play. But somehow still see multiple hunters, mages, rogues and warriors. So predictable
