You should visit and explore the south of Vietnam because the people are very friendly, but the north is not like that.

I just accidentally discovered your videos from my country. I am Vietnamese who lives in Canada ( since last 30 years) I want to follow your activities in Vietnam.
Your Vietnamese is pretty good . I am impressed with your language skill.
Take care. Thank you for sharing this interesting video.
Thank you so much for enjoying my videos. I love Vietnam so much. It’s so much to see and explore. I am trying to learn Vietnamese, it makes traveling much more interesting when I can interact with locals and speak in Vietnamese. Sometimes I miss pronounce, people laugh, but it’s fun for me as well, I love seeing people happy and smiling.
How many packs of tea did you buy in total ? The yellow one is a kind of black or green tea from Thai Nguyên in North VN . It's actually stronger and more bitter than the O Long tea . For me the O Long is much better . Did you visit the tea and coffee plantations in Bao Loc when you were there ? It's a very interesting experience for tourists .
There is actually no homeless people in VN . Some are real poor but some are fake poor . But they all have a place to stay .
Thank you for a good heart and a kindness you are.
It’s my pleasure 😇
hey you forgot 3 tea packs at the belt store
I know. I forgot to film and say about it. The guy from the store found me. He drive around market with motorbike to look for me and give me back the tea. Such a good guy he is.
Also, well spotted 👍👍👍
@@MrABroad aha, looks good
Người Việt Nam thân thiên nhiet tỉnh du bạn là ai nước nào Người Việt Nam luôn giúp đo bạn
Oh yes, I agree with you that 💯 ❤️🇻🇳
Hi, it's been a while since I watched your video I'm a
former student and don't know if you still remember ???
Hey, nice to talk to you. What is your name?
@@MrABroad my name is trân
your videos style is so humorous. Like it.
Thank you so much. I am just being myself 😊😁
Bảo Lọc & Đi Linh are the small towns off the beaten track as compared to Da Lat. I’m so happy that you found these two towns, Atauro. WOW, and your Vietnamese are getting better & better. Keep learning how to read in Vietnamese, as mastering that skill will catapult your vocabulary & pronunciation into a wider range very quickly. Trust me, as that’s how I started to learn to read & speak Vietnamese. Constructive suggestion: this clip is a bit too long, which may quickly lose the viewer after 15-20 minutes. Best to break it into several, shorter episodes, perhaps? Anyway, very nice content. Always enjoy your convo with the vendors and the local people. They all complimented you on your Vietnamese, and were very impressed with your language skills. You have immediately built rapport with them, simply by speaking the language, and by being humble in your interactions with them. Soo beautiful to see! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the compliments. I am trying my best to improve my Vietnamese. Yes, videos might be a bit too long. I guess I can cut out more fluffy stuff. To separate into couple different videos it would not make sence. Or maybe I can try it. I like when many things happening in one video.
I can read in Vietnamese a little as well. Just the tones are my weakest point.
I am willing to explore more and more different places in Vietnam and to bring more interesting content.
Thank you so much for enjoying my videos and thank you for your brief feedback. I appreciate a lot. ❤️🇻🇳
@@MrABroad indeed, with the Vietnamese language being very tonal, it is important to be able to read & discern all the different tones based on which diacritical marks are used over the consonants. Once you can master reading those marks, then your pronunciation cannot go wrong, as those marks dictate to the reader exactly how each words should be pronounced. I find Vietnamese to be a very phonetic language to read & write, very similar to Spanish. What you see written is exactly how you would pronounce it, no exception. And because it is a mono-syllabic language, the different word combinations give the context for the vocabulary definition, simply by the two words put together. Makes sense, right? I hope the above tips would help strengthen your pronunciation. So yes, it’s ALL in the correct pronunciation, in order to speak any tonal language correctly. Best of luck in improving your Vietnamese. You’re one of us, now! 🤗😊
@@thuymientran6676 Thank you for a great tips. I will keep them in mind and try my best to improve more and more. The more I can speak in Vietnamese the more fun I can have when interacting with locals.
There are also another type of banh xeo serves with different type of fresh herbs called ’rau rừng’ which are generally picked from the ‘wild’, vs typically grown in a garden. They have different tastes than the fresh herbs typically served more commonly. Talk about an explosion of tastes in your mouth! Ask your GF, if she’s Vietnamese, then she would know what I’m talking about.
Thank you for a great tip, I will keep this in mind 😊
*_Chào Mr Abroad_* !
