I say this all the time. If it were up to me, one change I'd make in the education system would be to add psychology classes ALL throughout school. Even little ones can learn some basics to help them become more aware of themselves and others.
It needs to be taught in school because kids don’t listen to parents. Kids also need to be taught what to do if they struggle with wanting to love bomb, control, sexually assault, etc. what resources are there to get help.

Teaching psychology (which would include self-esteem, personality types, personality disorders, relationship skills, communication skills, etc.) would benefit teachers AND students. I don’t even live in the same country anymore, I lost everything. I wish there was more support for me back then. The biggest gift you can give to your children, is the knowledge that they are totally loved for who they are, without condition. It prevents them from needing some blokes love bombing. My parents did this for me and no man could have done this to me, all that flattery, which I had, as many woman do, meant absolutely nothing to me, and only genuine people who wanted a decent relationship did anything for me. I am 71 years old so I can say this, and I consider myself extremely lucky

I’m so happy you’ve men a real man and a man that is the forever father to your beautiful boy and a father figure for your beautiful girls is wonderful news ❤ thinking of you and very proud of how you and your lovely family have come through all this. Firefighters never, ever, wear their gear off duty. They wouldn't want to. That gear is gross and gets professionally sanitized quite often because they sweat in it and they get carcinogens on it when in fires.. It's not comfortable, it's bulky and hot. Your skin is your largest organ so wearing carcinogens and other chemicals from the sanitization is something you do as little as possible over a 30 year career.

This was a both a tragic and inspiring story of resilience. I admire both these women. Colleen’s brother in law is an amazing standup man. I am glad she found love and a father for Charlie.

I’m so happy this woman escaped this, for me it wasn’t so easy, my perpetrator turned evil, I gave up my whole life, friends, family, career, home, everything to be free from the fear of the monster. I don’t even live in the same country anymore, I lost everything. I wish there was more support for me back then. I hope this can’t happen to anyone else, I lived a living nightmare, still do, it will never leave me.

Firefighters never, ever, wear their gear off duty. They wouldn't want to. That gear is gross and gets professionally sanitized quite often because they sweat in it and they get carcinogens on it when in fires.. It's not comfortable, it's bulky and hot. Your skin is your largest organ so wearing carcinogens and other chemicals from the sanitization is something you do as little as possible over a 30 year career.
