- 21 साल पहले कारगिल की पहाड़ियों पर भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच लड़ाई हुई थी. इस लड़ाई की शुरुआत तब हुई थी जब पाकिस्तानी सैनिकों ने कारगिल की ऊँची पहाड़ियों पर घुसपैठ करके अपने ठिकाने बना लिए थे. 8 मई, 1999. पाकिस्तान की 6 नॉरदर्न लाइट इंफ़ैंट्री के कैप्टेन इफ़्तेख़ार और लांस हवलदार अब्दुल हकीम 12 सैनिकों के साथ कारगिल की आज़म चौकी पर बैठे हुए थे. उन्होंने देखा कि कुछ भारतीय चरवाहे कुछ दूरी पर अपने मवेशियों को चरा रहे थे. पाकिस्तानी सैनिकों ने आपस में सलाह की कि क्या इन चरवाहों को बंदी बना लिया जाए? किसी ने कहा कि अगर उन्हें बंदी बनाया जाता है, तो वो उनका राशन खा जाएंगे जो कि ख़ुद उनके लिए भी काफ़ी नहीं है. उन्हें वापस जाने दिया गया. क़रीब डेढ़ घंटे बाद ये चरवाहे भारतीय सेना के 6-7 जवानों के साथ वहाँ वापस लौटे. भारतीय सैनिकों ने अपनी दूरबीनों से इलाक़े का मुआयना किया और वापस चले गए. क़रीब 2 बजे वहाँ एक लामा हेलिकॉप्टर उड़ता हुआ आया. इतना नीचे कि कैप्टेन इफ़्तेख़ार को पायलट का बैज तक साफ़ दिखाई दे रहा था. ये पहला मौक़ा था जब भारतीय सैनिकों को भनक पड़ी कि बहुत सारे पाकिस्तानी सैनिकों ने कारगिल की पहाड़ियों की ऊँचाइयों पर क़ब्ज़ा जमा लिया है.

@@deshmukh_sagar That is only because Capt Vikram Batra happened to be a Punjabi. Punjabis are masters of Propaganda. Even my Brother in Law Capt Kanaud Bhattacharya was a martyr and hero of Kargil war who was killed in Kargil conflict leading his company . And so were 100 other officers. But the Punjabi propaganda industry try to fool us that it was only because of Vikram Batra we won the war. Punjabis on both side of border of lndia and Pakistan are very loud mouth and boisterous. Look at Bhagat Singh. The Punjabis propagated him to be the biggest patriot and martyr of lndia but the reality is there were at least 10 times more Bengalis who were hung by the British during freedom struggle than Punjabis. The British were so afraid of the Bengalis that they even disbanded the Bengal Regiment. British were mostly dependent on the Punjab and Sikh regiments who supported and helped the British throughout British rule. In fact they were the biggest traitors of lndia. Their pride is just a show, in reality they are just meek traitors.

2) 1971 : Then a Colonel in army tasked with ensuring logistics in East Pakistan. Pak army surrendered unconditionally. Col. Parvez being one of those 90,000 men...!!
3) Operation meghdut : A Bregedier in pak army's North command by then failed to conquer saichen glacier multiple times between 1984 to 1987... result : pak army's failure to capture Saichen glaciers...
4) 1999. : Planned and executed the Kargil conflict as an acting general of pak army. Result : Pak army defeated and flushed out of kargil heights across LoC...

1) India bought Stingers 19 years after Kargil. Thats a long time. And we did that because Stinger is the best infrared guided MANPAD in the world. And the Indian Army was looking for new MANPADs. Not because it has anything to do with Kargil.
2) French did not give any laser guided missiles to India. India imported Paveway Kits from Israel during Kargil. The delay caused by the late integration of the kits with Mirage 2000s, Mig 27s and Jaguars meant that IAF started bombing late.

You can easily understand by seeing data of Insurance sector of India When FDI ( 26% ) first time allowed in this sector after Kargil War. Pakistan shot down our MI helicopter using Stringer Missiles. America supplied these missiles. These missiles are able to destroy jets and helicopter in shortrange. It was Surface to Air Missile. India bought first stringer missile in 2018. very Strange.
Israel gave laser guided missiles then our air force attacked. Why did airforce not attacked from the starting of war ??
