Your review of Blink Twice has sold me on the movie better than the trailer did. I wasn't intending on going to see it but the way you describe it makes it sound better than the trailer because that trailer gave a way a lot. lol
I like the tension between Frida and the other girl. It kinda lends to the story and the plot twist between the girls in the bedroom.

Loved it. The casting was spot on. I got chills and loved all the twists that weren’t predictable. Very deep messages and real life parallels!
I didn’t like the lead. She gave a great performance but the fact that they didn’t give her an implant to close her teeth drive me crazy. It just takes you out of the film. Mouth closed, I can see why a billionaire would target her but soon as she smiles, I wonder what’s her appeal. The gap doesn’t work for her.
Love movies with social commentary so I’ll go watch it on the weekend.

As much as I liked the entire movie, the final message being girl boss kind of sank the intense finale for me.
Cool, only thing I knew about this one was that it was supposed to be called Pussy island until the studio got cold feet a couple of months ago.

I think I must be a little bit behind the times here as I've just watched "ready player One" Steven Spielberg and thought it was the best thing I've ever seen this year but then I watched Passengers 2016 and thought that was pretty neat too. You look awfully like one of my other channels I'm subscribed to with an American guy who travels in his black truck along with his bulldog but maybe I'm mixing you to up but you look awfully like him. Loving your reviews but you can't beat your vortex French sci-fi thriller review. Sunshine greets from the end of Winter

I know its on the older side..but if you haven't seen The Salton Sea.....get on it!
I would have enjoyed this movie more if a person in my theater hadn't decided to have full blown phone conversation in the middle of the movie.
What were people doing why did they put up with it? We they speaking spanish?

@@joem6023 lol right a lot of white people are scared to death of melonated people right now, I think it's far beyond social conditioning and movies/tv because if u pay attention melonated people seem to always win fights or sometimes are the only ones hitting,for the most part it, plays on the sub conscious, but another thing we are undoubtabley at a war against testosterone and dht and the melonated still have more of both.
@@user-nn7fh5cx5n They were speaking English. I was the only other person in the theater, so only I noticed. I should have reported it to the employees, but I didn't want to annoy the workers.
@@CarrieArt7 yeah, or don't be afraid to say something too, you payed good money , go out buy something tell the employee to come in a little later or a little before you. Ur good to go.
This movie was good period
This movie was a lot of fun. Felt kind of in some spots but overall a thrilling good time.
This is very triggering as currently there is a court case in France where for the last 10 years or so.. a husband (Dominique Pelicot) drugging his wife (both 70’s) and letting strangers have sex with her and she caught STDs and she had no recovering of it. Having to watch videos the police had.
A real horror story 😩😩😩🤯🤯🤯🤯

Glad you dug this one a lot more than I did! Movies like this that try to balance tension and comedy effectively have to be handled by a true master of the medium, and the pacing of this film really held it back from reaching its true potential. It definitely has moments that will shock you, make you laugh, and leave you wanting more...But there is so much wasted time in the middle of the film that could've been spent getting us attached to these characters in order to make the conclusion that much more impactful. I think Zoe Kravitz has a future as a director, but this one didn't really land for me. Great review, Chris!

I enjoyed the filmmaking and performances, but by the end, there were things with the plot that had me suspended disbelief a bit too much for my liking

Jethu shob byaparei kotha bolen but as an audience dekha uchit ki na shetai bolen na. Thought of watching, came for a review, left with an analysis rather than a review where jethu prochondo intellectual. Bhai music score niye 2 minute hyajanor maane ache kono, the movie just got released.
So is this worth watching in theater?
