Watson was doubled at the highest rate in the leauge when playing, understandable with his 6'4 1/2 height and Tyreek Hill speed. But what's crazy to me is Dontayvion Wicks being doubled at one of the highest rates in the leauge along with him, at a higher rate than Amon Ra the Lions by far and ahead #1 target. Alot of it has to do with their Talent, but it also has to do with the Fact that for a majory of the year all the Packers had in the running game was AJ Dillion, teams weren't afraid of him. They could use their resources in the secondary and pressuring the QB. Last season Josh Jacobs faced 7.2 defenders on average in the box, an insane number and most in the leauge. If even it slightly transfers that will open up everything immensely. Teams will have to make a choice. Along with Jordan love being used to the NFL and the WRs growing, I expect this offense to explode next season. They can't double the wrs and play heavy coverage and also load the box.. it's a pick your poison situation. Love still had one of the best starting seasons in NFL history aswell, with practically no help in the running game.

It would be hard for Love to top his stat from last year. Information I posted earlier showed he was top ten in numerous areas. These lists sound pretty reasonable to me. I'm okay not having Jordan Love in the top 10 yet, hopefully by the end of the year he'll be closer to top 5 but he still needs to prove the longevity of this success he's been having.
I love Herbert and I think he's a great QB, it's just hard for me to see him so high up on this list when his team hasn't done much, and yeah we can say the Chargers choked away the playoff win but Herbert is the QB, he still has to make plays.
I do think Dak gets a ton of hate for not performing well in the playoffs, but if you want a model of consistency as far as regular season, it's him.

Brock purdy should be in the tua tier. He is a game manager that gets inflated "mvp" numbers because of a stacked team and the best offensive coach in football. Just like Matt Ryan. It is honestly dumbfounding that people can't see how every mediocre quarterback is suddenly great under kyle shanahan. Even journeyman backups throw for 300 yards a game under kyle shanahan. Kyle shanahan is the quarterback, he just isnt making the passes.

@@ThePaulFarringtonShow If you're in the NFL you've got talent. Talent counts but there are more important indicators of measuring success in the NFL. Steve Young had way more physical talent than Joe Montana. Montana was a much more successful QB than Young by every measure. Randall Cunningham was a freak talent when he played but he was not better than Troy Aikman or Jim Kelly or Phil Simms. Those 3 guys led great teams and offenses. Singular spectacular plays as the fall back to inconsistent team offense does not get it done over the long haul. Composure and the ability to stay calm when the pressure is greatest are the best traits in the best players. We'll see with Stroud and Love down the road. I am more impressed with Stroud than Love at this juncture but neither have accomplished what Purdy has done, and all three need awhile to achieve what Goff has done over his career. Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray and Matthew Stafford all have worlds of talent but all of them have displayed their frustrations with their teammates/officials/organizations in ugly self serving ways over their careers. That matters. Give me the stand up guys who put team first. That is what teammates and the best organizations search for. Thanks again for the great summer diversions!! Stay cool!

Also, going to have to take Paul's side and take Burrow over Allen, personally. Burrow throws the ball better throughout his career. They're the same age, but Allen has played two seasons longer, Burrow has had more team success, more success head to head (2-0 Burrow over Allen so far one playoff game, one regular season game, Burrow threw 2 TDs, - 0 INTs and more yards than Allen in both games, Allen threw a pick in each game, and only 1 TD in the regular season game.) Burrow also has a better TD:INT ratio to Allen by a considerable amount for the career 97:37 for Burrow, 167:78 for Allen, reducing that's almost 3:1 vs slightly better than 2:1. Burrow averages 30 more yards per game than Allen, and completes 68.3% of his passes to Allen's 63%. Allen has his advantages in running the ball, and his availability so far; but I'd rather take my chances with Burrow because he's also had more success than Allen against Patrick Mahomes, having beaten him in the playoffs despite having less playoffs matchups to get it done.
All those things combine still leave the race close; but I'm going to take the guy with better production; like Ziggy said (even though in this 1 v 1 Ziggy picked the less productive guy.)

Congrats on 50 members, really signed up for the pick 'em league; but signed up early to support and see about the merch giveaway. Purdy is on that game manager level where he's so good at it, it's not an insult; even if some people take it that way. (Look up the Warren Sapp - Cam Newton game manager conversation for more nuance on that; where Cam taught Warren that Tom Brady was the best game manager of all time and it's not an insult that Cam says Sapp's Super Bowl winning QB Brad Johnson was also a game manager.)
Purdy is among the best game managers in the game right now, and that is enough to have him in my top 10.

Jack is like that friend you find annoying and then miss when they aren’t around

Nahh, more like that friend you enjoy having around because they keep things light and interesting, but at the same time, you breath a mental sigh of relief whenever you get a break from them.

If you're starting a franchise, you're taking Mahomes 1. Allen 2, and probably Burrow 3.

Justin Herbert is so overrated. Good QB, athletic, big arm...blah, blah, blah.
Win something then I'll admit he's great.

Herbert is most overrated QB I’ve ever seen. Has done nothing but pad stats his whole career
