Little brains in jars sometimes think about crafting with yarn. But they are very smol, and haven't done a lot of yarn crafting. They would be well served by picking yarn that is forgiving to work with. Protein based fibres are generally easier to work with, as they are ever so slightly stretchy when compared to plant based fibres. Yarn with some fluff to it also helps disguise uneven stitch sizes and other imperfections. That way that the crafter is less likely to feel dismayed at the beginning of their crafting journey. Variations in stitch tension that lead to blanket/scarf edges of unequal length can be disguised by crocheting an edge on the piece. Scalloped/shell stitch works particularly well. If the edge lengths are particularly different, crochet needles of different sizes can be used, smaller needles on the longer edge, and slightly larger on the shorter edge. In general it takes practice to develop very even stitch tension, but improvements tend to happen quickly.

I feel like avoiding the term “brain in a vat” is pretty good marketing, actually. Also best to avoid excessive cackling.

More proof I'm no marketing strategist. As long as we don't go with their "Brainoware," I'm satisfied!

I'm morbidly curious to see how/when the crossover between I Robot (movie) and The Matrix happens.
