Just got all my old vinyl out - how I loved Davy Woodward - where is he now? spent my well-placed youth dancing in Indie clubs in South West - still bopping x
Indie classic. Dans the man on the Trumpet. Guitar chords are: Intro & Chorus: Bm F E A x 2 Verses & instrumental : D G D G D G Em A Em A Mid 8: G A D A x2 Get spankin them planks!
thats what was good about it ! sounds like they played it in there garage , every body into indie was fed up with the rubbish in the charts at the time eg stock aitken and waterman
@timothyahall - thanks for that. I am not local to that area but reaching the end of a big decade would love to see him at least one more time. As I said I dragged myself and all my friends round a variety of venues to see them play ;)
Any band members out there? Do you remember doing the Miners benefit gig at Trinity (16th June 84) with B Bragg and the Redskins, and gettin a lift to the Dug Out in a VW Camper?
probably der best song from an excellent band. Somebody up there likes me. one of d best lp's of all time
