As a Catholic I don't know much about the Sikh faith but this is pretty incredible. I love the idea of modernizing religion without compromising values. Keeping your religion accessible to everyone. its truly amazing!
I visited Golden Temple 3 years back and I have been to many places in India but this! It is unlike any other place. Never been a day where I don't think about making a 2nd trip here and a trip after that and may be one more after that and may be every year like Mr. Gujral does. There is something special about this place.

What a revelation. Didn't know the whole history although my father in law introduced me to the Sukhmani Sahib when he could not move or sit to read. He knew it by heart though and read it daily from an urdu version. I decided to carry it on through a hindi version because I did not know urdu. Today I read only one shloka a day del ving into the meaning. I am 81 now and still learning from my Sikh friends. Wahe Guru.

Harmandir Sahib is a Sikh Gurdwara. It has four entrances which signifies that all people from all four corners of the Earth are equally welcome.
