    Hey mate! Your arm is looking good, you can see a difference from the other videos. Less red, looks more settled and blended. Cant wait to follow you during your stage 2 process! Sending some more love from Quebec 😘👌🏻

    I am going to show this to my brother he can learn a thing or two from your experience. He has been questioning whether he should just go for it or not. He is going to be so happy when he watches this. Thank you so much for being an inspiration, and a mentor for the trans community!!

      @RockinUK Před 8 lety

      This isn't the original question but... how long after surgery could you use graft arm with computer to type?

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  Před 8 lety

      Thanks mate. I was typing one handed till about 8 weeks then gradually became able to use the graft arm more but would have to give it lots of study breaks as typing with it would make it swell

      @RockinUK Před 8 lety

      +FinnTheInfinncible Oh blimey. I'd better learn how to type one handed!! :-/ Thanks though. This is something I need to take into account.

      +Rockin' UK I found it a bit of a battle with study, had to ask for extra time as sitting in a chair typing was painful on all areas!!!

    Dude... again thank you so much for this info. Holy shit I think I might well struggle on my own. Gotta do what ya gotta do! I wonder if I linger around a jet wash long enough, someone might hose me off? I'm sure others have managed. God I'm a pussy when it comes to pain, yet I still can't wait to go through all this... WEIRD.

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  Před 8 lety +1

      I'll hose you down! Lol. It is painful but when we need something so badly the need becomes greater than the pain. Plenty of people do manage this op alone so it is do able. Just see if there are some people you can find to help you with little stuff like shopping and make sure to stay in touch with the community online

  • @augistine
    @augistine Před 5 lety

    Did you do any surgeries before phalloplasty? Like hysterectomy or anything? I’ve heard there’s steps

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  Před 5 lety

      Yes my friend, here in the UK, phalloplasty is done in three stages. Penis created in the first stage, urethral hook up and hysterectomy in second and erectile device in the third. Here is a link to my playlist with every stage in detail czcams.com/play/PL-xdbMjLqelIou2jJHlgHoUGz60WeCPOv.html

  • @Ocean_Grove
    @Ocean_Grove Před 8 lety

    Hey Finn, maybe an odd question - is the nerve in your side going to be moved in second stage or will you always feel it in the side? Great video :)

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  Před 8 lety +1

      +Leo Not an odd question at all my friend! The nerve stays where it is, it goes through the phallus and into a muscle (or something!) on or near the lower abdomen. Somehow, through the bodies amazing adaptability, my brain and nerves will rewire and that feeling will be in my penis eventually....thats what I get told from other guys further on whose bodies have adapted. Its crazy huh!!! Gives me an excuse to keep playing with myself ;)

    • @Ocean_Grove
      @Ocean_Grove Před 8 lety +1

      +FinnTheInfinncible Wow that's great! I've got my appointment with Mr Christopher on Tuesday and I've just been binge watching your videos for the past couple months getting clued up on the details - I recently messaged you on tumblr, not sure if you remember. So I have a few questions as usual :)..... Does insurance covers all of of these procedures in the UK or do you have to come up with money on your own? second for us non British people how many pounds is a stone and lastly you need to get more Stevia my friend lol

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  Před 8 lety +1

      +Zublime75 Hello! The NHS covers everything here, we just have to pay for prescriptions. We can choose to go private but it is incredibly expensive to pay out of pocket for phalloplasty, something like £50,000
      A stone is 14 pounds, I have lost 13 ponds since Jan!
      Love stevai! Though I have stopped taking sugar completely now, even replacements, the pot is now used for the gerbils seeds!
      Have a great weekend my friend!

    Even after the surgery,
    were you allowed to take your testosterone? and how long did it take until you were able to walk normally?

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  Před 8 lety

      My testosterone is given every ten weeks so that wasn't effected . You should be ok to have it a few days after just check with yr surgeon. I was walking much better once the staples were out at 14 days post op but still having some discomfort . Walking was probably more normal by about 6 weeks post op

  • @jebsmith323
    @jebsmith323 Před 5 hodinami

    How can you afford all this? Oh, NHS. So everyone in the UK pays for these surgeries. hm

  • @saedyespinal4113

    hey finn how its going ? why did you choose to take part of your arm instead of your leg? and does it really looks like a real one?

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  Před 8 lety +1

      +Saedy Espinal My penis is a real penis and yes it will look like any other males penis once all three surgeries are complete.
      I chose forearm as it gives the best results sensation wise

    • @saedyespinal4113
      @saedyespinal4113 Před 8 lety

      +FinnTheInfinncible what about the other part of the body? they have less sensation?

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  Před 8 lety

      +Saedy Espinal the different types of lower surgery give different results in feeling, looks and function. In terms of feeling , forearm is said to give the best result but you do get feeling with the others too. Heres some more info

    Hi Finn! I am so pleased for you with everything - you give me so much hope for the future! I have enjoyed following your journey and I will be starting mine soon! top surgery in a couple of weeks! eek! I was wondering if you would mind checking out a project I am working on to outline issues of transitioning on the NHS in the uk - a documentary that focusses on the issues surrounding surgery loopholes through NHS and the reasons i have scraped together to go privately blah blah rather than the 'bodily' sense that a lot of documentaries have looked at before. www.indiegogo.com/projects/departures--2#/ - so pleased for you and your journey! glad you are well xxx

    • @FinnTheInfinncible
      @FinnTheInfinncible  Před 8 lety

      It depends on the type of phalloplasty and where the surgery takes place. Over here in the UK with radial artery phalloplasty the hysto is second stage
