These are derivative works as defined by the United States Copyright Act 17 U.S.C. § 101, and as such, may find protection from copyright claims under the doctrine of fair use.
The trailer mashups are not only a user generated form of digital creativity but a way to create anticipation for future releases, working in tandem with current movie trailers. Movie trailers are designed to give minimal plot detail and to create hype and anticipation. Fan made trailer mashups allow the audience to perform their own cinematic spin on current movie footage. This allows the trailer to focus on a specific actor or portion of the film. It could even change the plot or genre of the film entirely.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is an upcoming American limited series created for the streaming service Disney+, featuring the Star Wars character of the same name. Set ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith (2005), the series is written by Joby Harold and directed by Deborah Chow.
Ewan McGregor executive produces and stars as the title character, reprising his role from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Hayden Christensen also stars, reprising his role as Darth Vader. The project originated as a spin-off film to be written by Hossein Amini and directed by Stephen Daldry,kenobi, obiwan kenobi, kenobi trailer, kenobi official trailer, kenobi teaser trailer, kenobi series, kenobi series trailer, but it was reworked as a limited series by Amini following the commercial failure of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). McGregor was confirmed to be starring in August 2019, and Chow was hired to direct a month later. Production was scheduled to begin in July 2020, but the series was put on indefinite hold in January 2020 because Lucasfilm was unhappy with the series' scripts. Harold was hired to rewrite the series in April 2020, and additional castings were announced in March 2021. Filming began by May 2021 in Los Angeles, using StageCraft video wall technology, and wrapped by September. Obi-Wan Kenobi is scheduled to be released in 2022, and will consist of six episodes. McGregor entered negotiations to star in a television series for Disney+ centered on Obi-Wan Kenobi by mid-August 2019. Later that month, at Disney's D23 event, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and McGregor officially announced that the actor would be reprising his role as Kenobi in a new series for Disney+, set eight years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005).Filming was scheduled to begin in July 2020,and scripts for the six-episode limited series had already been written by Amini at the time of the announcement. I remember seeing fan made Kenobi teasers from this channel in 2016 before it was announced. Seemed like wishful thinking back then but now the show actually exists.

It's almost painful to see Ewan this grizzled....almost. We got so lucky when they cast him.
At least recasting Ewan McGregor is what us fans want in order to be satisfied about Star Wars and what it's showing us all

I am enjoying the Book of Boba Fett and Mandalorian live action series. These series got a lot of things right and better then the third sequel trilogy movies Disney did. I hope Disney puts a timeline for all the movies, shows so fans can watch the stories in order and understand the history better. It is fun to update the timeline looking as well into the video games, books, EU material beyond the canon material.
Boba Fett is literally the worst thing that has ever had the name Star Wars branded on it. Sequels at least felt like Star Wars in the cinema, Boba Fett is some kind of cosplay Power Rangers series for children
@@OVERDEAUXIS I don't agree with you on the third trilogy sequels. I think what happens is that Disney needs a better director and producer if they want to make a 4th trilogy. I give JJ Abrams, Rian Johnson, Kathleen Kennedy for being creative and risky, but I think it is hard to step up to George Lucas shoes. Personally someone who could do a lot better would be James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, D B Weiss and the game of throne directors and the Mandalorian directors. If they were to make a 4th trilogy I personally would like to move 100 years into the future so we see how everything evolved past the third trilogy so Disney would better do their homework and try not to make the same mistakes George Lucas did with the prequels which actually were good if not as amazing as the first trilogy.
@@OVERDEAUXIS My honest opinion and to my surprise personally the best Star Wars movie Disney made was Rogue One. They hit a home run with baby Yoda or Grogu and the Mandelorian. They could do a lot to improve the franchise.
