The standout thing here to me is the approach. I definitely am not in the camp of **just because it's done in one version means it ought to be applied moving forward - including things based on versions that the thing did not apply to(such as this).** But in this case I think it works because it doesn't have to be utilized. But the most interesting part to me at this point is the how the legs will connect to the shorts. This will be answered shortly if it hasn't been already, but I'm curious if the top of the leg was redesigned for seamless modularity. That would be an improvement to the engineering of the Lines(Cartoon & Non-Cartoon), assuming it is not reserved for Two Bad. And if it is, that will be a glaring miss for the duration of Production.
It seems to me that Mattel is purposely annoying Origins fans with Two Bad. They released Masterverse and now Cartoon Two Bad, and they even made a damn Turtles of Grayskull version of TwoBad with Beebop and Rocksteady, but they yet need to release an actual vintage looking figure... It's anoying even to me and I don't even collect Origins. :D
Absolutly! It's a middle finger from mattel to all "real origins collectors (vintage remake origins) which are waiting for a two bad since 2020/2021. (On Mattel Creations Website: The product description does not even say: Cartoon Collection. Let's buy the wrong one.... friend of mine would, before i told him)
Yep ... Origins Vintage is the last to get anything and the spin-off's get it all first, you know the same will happen with Modulok, RioBlast as well. The Naysayers say we need the spin-offs to fund Origins Vintage so thats why we need to wait but i just think its Mattel stalling as they fear spinoffs will loose momentum once the vintage line is complete. They are doing a Super7 and arent releasing major characters fast enough so they can stretch out the line for profit.

Not every sane collector has infinite money and space for everything. We need what we need. If you are a "origins" cartoon collector startet in 2024 thats fine, but mattel better finish up the remaining vintage origins, before making a wanted figure (as a vintage remake like the other 2020/2021+ figures) a "Cartoon Collection" one. Thats offensive from mattel. Many have already stopped collecting and reselling their unfinished collection. The money is in the vintage origins remakes alone (Mattel Creations showed that many times).

Origins Vintage Remakes: Look at the Fan Favourite She-Ra for example - she got an upgrade and looks much better now. (But all the woman are not selling good in the Masters Franchise.)
I wouldn’t be collecting MOTU without both of them! My only exceptions are some cherry-picked Masterverse New Eternia figures as complements to my vintage & origins main figures.
