Nice video. it helped me see the springs & how the attach to the deck. I took mine off & forgot how they went on. Thanx!
Well FYI. a lot years of experience in many things and I got the belt on with out removing deck in like 15minutes and only loosing the one pulley on passenger side. thanks though as the vid. helped to find where and how it went around the pulleys. I am hard on this mower and will need to do much the day I do drop the deck.
i realize I'm kind of randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream newly released movies online?
Nice job mate now get the grass cut brother and have a beer
Use anti spatter on the nozzle and it will last longer also the nozzle is a consumable and should be replaced when worn out and they make a neat little tool that will clean the spatter out of the nozzle.
Interesting video, my Lt4200's engine's shot & was thinking of pulling the deck & making a 36 HP 42" push mower, the riding mower cuts too low to get over septic tank lids & leaves for more trimming for me, Liked & Subscribed.
Shot as in rod through the block?
Or lost power, and smoking?
If it's not blown they are an easy rebuild.
@@hillbillyholler516 I had knee high grass, had to get an acre of grass mowed for the first time all year, since, the weather was crap, I was busy working, trying to get things ready for Memorial Day, I was in the middle of mowing my yard, when all the sudden it just stopped running, I had 1/4 tank of gas left in the tank, that thing spends so much time at the repair shop, I don't know if it's cause it ran out of oil or what, but I'll be replacing the 16.5 HP engine with a 36HP engine, & replacing the pulleys with sprockets & a #60 Heavy Duty High Carbon steel Chain & making it a push mower with 13" solid rubber tires, good for between 300 pounds to 500 pounds each & maybe put extreme High lift blades on it, build it to go through just about anything I'd need it to go through when I get behind on mowing for the Holidays.
I saw this video on Saturday and my deck belt cover broke and I like your modification with a piece of angle aluminum or steel but first a trip to tractor store to see of they have the part. I also need to get a air filter cover one of the little turn keys that hold the cover broke a year or so ago anyway a good video
You can get the guides online , but they are expensive, and prone to break
Where is the oil on top of the deck coming from?
Is there a way to adjust belt without replacing it if not needed mine is loose
also, How do you disconnect the PTO cable?
oh, that's how, one of the things wrong with the riding mower is the engagement pulley sticks & I got to beat it with a piece of a sledge hammer handle that broke & I cut off from the rest of the handle, which shortened the handle for my 20 pound sledge.
Got to learn to get out of the way
What belt is that?
@@hillbillyholler516 the cover on the new belt says 1/2' x 95'. Which is it, 95 or 96?
@@grebren3973 mine takes a 1/2 x 96.
It depends on the manufacture year as to the size.
Open your hood, and get the part # off the decal.
Go to tractor supply , pick the part # then measure to be sure
My bracket was pulled out of deck. Took an old blade and cut it to fit under the deck and welded on with the hole of old blade lined up with bracket hole. Then got a bolt long enough to extend through bracket to put pulley back on. Very strong and the cheesey bracket doesn't have any pressure on it.
