      Definitely. Up close you can still see where they were but you really have to be looking for them.

      @@CanadianCruisin my stang is the metallic dark gray. I found nail polish w gold flake that matches perfectly. The trick is the application. I take as much excess off the brush and dab it on the chipped areas.

      Thank you. I think if the chip is a little older and maybe bubbling a bit the smudge would work best to kind of get it under the old paint

    They are using Dr. Colorchip over in Europe as well because there are customers that have purchased their commercial systems, which is like a little mini-franchise package.

    My experience with this was not so good. My car is white and the Chip Fixx paint is definitely more beige. The paint I got was old and had lumps in it.. and they don't respond to emails.

    • @CanadianCruisin
      @CanadianCruisin  Před 4 lety

      Honestly if my car wasn't black I probably wouldn't attempt this either. It's just because the chips were white that it stood out so badly I needed something. It's weird that it would have lumps in there though.

      I've seen this done and you would never match the color to the paint of the car. And it takes twice as long with way more work so ill stick with this.
