For the cake
- 5 eggs (room temperature)
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 70 gr oil
- 60 gr milk
- 90 gr cake flour ; substitute: 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp (all-purpose flour) and 1 tbsp (corn starch)
- 1 tbsp butterfly pea flower powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp sugar (for the merengue)
For the filling
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp butterfly pea flower powder
- 1/3 cup sugar

Unlike macha I'd say it's quite subtle you can't even taste anything I guess. It's just a best food coloring. so beautiful! But if you make tea or latte out of these, you'd have an earthy, woody taste.
