I was really hoping for a new starter box for this era.
Same here... I have tons of Clone Wars era for Legion; I would rather have a GCW era Core Box or at least an Essentials Kit so I can choose my own squads.
That could very realistically happen. I think that would be an awesome possibility.
I agree. Right now, he first GCW battles are going to be Vader and Stormtroopers against Ewoks or bartending R2-D2. A core box or at least some more universal unit sets with some standard troops for both sides would have been welcome. But that‘s okay, I am in no hurry and will pick up most boxes eventually 😅

Rogue one is a no brainer. So many options there. 1: Jyn, Baze, Chirrut, Bistan? 2: Cassian, K2, Pathfinders, 3: Krennic, shores, death troopers. Something like that
The Shatterpoint figures are beautiful. I collect Legion, but I really love the sculpts on the Shatterpoint stuff.

Haven't been able to play since the end of summer....very excited for some holiday gaming. The one thing I want in the future is an Emperor on Throne, just like my favorite model form Star Wars Minis. Happy Holidays!

I know nothing about other Star Wars tabletop games other than Armada but you are making me want to branch out.
Merry Christmas Crabbok! I'm hoping that they release an essentials kit like they did for Legion. I am not interested in the clone wars stuff, so that would be great for those of us who like the GCW era. We could just buy terrain, essentials box, and then which ever expansions we like the most.
Play him as Minsc? He should be played like Don Karnage! which is just the coyote version of Hondo.
That Mando box is a little odd but they could've replaced Cara Dune with Kuiil.

I am most looking forward to all the TV series characters: like Rebels, Bad Batch, Mandalorian. For me, this fits the Shatterpoint „Saturday morning cartoon“ formula best (like Clone Wars). Also, almost every bounty hunter in the Star Wars universe would be a welcome addition - they don‘t mind fighting alongside anyone as long as the credits are right. Man, I also hope we‘ll see Doctor Aphra along with BT-1 and 0-0-0 at some point 😊 On a different note: I do miss Cara Dune as a character but I understand why they had to cut Gina Carano.

Little jealous shatterpoint got hondo and the weequay gang before legion. Been using house rules and 3d prints for their gang for a couple years now, hopefully them showing up in shatterpoint means will get something official soon for legion as well! I really want to see more scum and villainy stuff like that.

Cara Dune was dropped for obvious reasons :P, sadly.
If they scrapped Cara Dune because of that dumb stuff I’m seriously disappointed in them. Also, Grand Admiral Thrawn was totally a good guy!!
9:48- Um………. I guess there is a slight possibility that this could have been literally the first set they started working on………. but I really doubt it!?! I think it’s way more likely that either baby Yoda was supposed to be a separate model/character and they decided against it because either they had a difficult time making a separate rule set for him and him not being OP/UP or whoever that makes decisions wanted them on 1 base! Or one that is less likely than my first but more then the “they designed it years and years ago and couldn’t figure out who to put in her place for years” (sorry, but if that was the case it sounds like AMG would actually be a way smaller company or one that has no control over their very slow development and workers…..)!?! Or AMG is in direct contact with Disney creative team and originally Fett was going to be in there but whatever Disney has planned for season 2 changed AMG mind…… and I just thought of a few others but this is already long enough and I just want to get back to the video to see if anything new was brought up!?!

Hi! I’m not sure if you are joking around or not so I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. In this case, the character traits that Thrawn embodies do resemble certain characteristics that can be found on some people with ASD. Neurodiversity can be a super power in many ways, and Thrawn in my eyes, represents this. It isn’t an uncommon belief that Thrawn could easily be representing a Star Wars character on the spectrum. I’d encourage you to learn more if you have question.
