Every time you post a reading journal check in, I'm inspired to start one of my own....and then I don't. My cheap excuse is I don't have a printer at home to get small pictures. Until then, I'll just continue to enjoy your journals. Thanks for sharing

Thank you for sharing your reading journal with us. This has finally convinced me to start one myself. I’m going to keep it very simple with listing the books I’ve read and dnf-ed, and for my favourite books, I’ll insert the cover art and list my favourite quotes or scenes. Maybe I’ll also add some author information like you do, but I’ll first see how my simple approach works. And writing with an erasable pen helps me to cross the threshold of being afraid of making mistakes in my writing😅

My very favorite videos of yours (full disclosure, I love them all) are the older videos where you are actually creating your writing journal spreads. Please don’t fret about imperfections; those are part of the charm of a handwritten heirloom. Picture the Diary of Ann Frank or the Lewis and Clark journals. Would those be more pleasing in a perfectly typed and pristine format? Heck NO!! I love your reading journal just exactly the way it is.

Great! Your portable printer will have a corresponding app that you can download to your phone. Then you'll turn on your printer and open your app and have the app on your phone connect to the printer. Then it's just a matter of adding your pics into the app and pressing print. Hopefully all goes smoothly for you!

I love your reading journal, it’s beautiful! I have kept a reading journal for the last 6 years and I’m so glad I did. I just use a journal/notebook with lined paper and I write some thoughts on each book and quotes. One thing I like to do is write in the front of the journal the number of books that I read for each of the past years. I like to compare them.

I love watching your reading journal videos. It looks so good. I do have a reading journal but not as in depth as yours with photos and quotes. It looks so lovely. I wish I could take the time to make mine so pretty.

I bought one of those printers but I don't know how to use it. I guess you take pictures with your phone, then plug them into the computer and then plug the printer into the computer. I don't really even know how to transfer photos to my computer though so I've put off trying to figure it out. I've had the printer for a few weeks now.
Do you have an iPhone?
What type of printer are you using, please?
I’m using the Phomemo Pocket Printer - M02 PRO with transparent paper. It’s not the best print quality but I like using it for my journal. 😃
@@RoadReads I must get one of those printers. I've never heard of one like that. I've never kept a reading journal before but I love the way you post pictures of the books in yours.
