Summer is here and I thought it would be the perfect time to do a quick and easy tutorial on how and where to apply powder bronzer.
I get asked so often where to place bronzer and I think there can be a bit of confusion on where to bronze and where to contour.
This video goes over the very basics of bronzer application.

That makes me so happy!!! Itâs honestly so easy I promise. Just make sure you find a good bronzer for your skin tone, sometimes thatâs the hardest part!
I thought the same thing and didnât try bronzer until I was 44years old. When I was young it seemed all the bronzers were orange but thank goodness itâs not as hard to find one that looks good on pale skin. Iâm 51 now and Iâm so glad you were able to try bronzer while youâre still so young. â€ïž
Stay out of the sun! Use bronzer instead!!! I'm 40 now and wish I would have used bronzer in my twenties. I now have malasma. SPF! It's your best friend đ With all of the different options now, you can look tan without bring orange.

Hi Nikki just wanna say how much I enjoy and appreciate your videos. I'm probably one of the not so many "mature" faces (I hate that term wise face is much better! Lol) I've watched you since pretty early on and I always learn something from you that I can use. Technique wise that is. Sometimes my application has to be different but you put out great content, tips, etc. and explain it all so well. Recommended you to several of my "wise face" friends who feel as I do. First I told my daughters as I'd guess you're in about the same age range. I'm 56 and still love my makeup, fragrances, jewelry and so on. Always have and always will I think. I have to change the way I do things daily it feels at times as I see something that wasn't there yesterday or it's farther south lol. Just wanted you to know you're appreciated and I love how you explain things and it gives me new ways to tweak my application. Looking forward to what you'll bring us in the future. I typically hold eyeshadow brushes in the normal fashion but when Iâm doing base work, blush , bronzer and highlight etc I hold them like you. The brushes seem to sit more loosely and comfortably in the hand ( for me đ )

Hi Nikki! Great tutorial! I'm 55 and have combo skin - oily t-zone. I've been experiencing cakey makeup in the area of my blush and bronzer. I have to be careful with powder because it adds to the cakiness. I'm going to try and go very, very lightly with translucent powder. Do you have any more suggestions for me?

What is i have big chipmunk cheeks and my high points would be my lower fatty part of my cheek by my mouth? Do i put bronzer there instead of my cheekbones (that are not prominent like most everyone else)?
I do have a higher forehead which I hate, but love wearing my hair back in a ponytail. Do you have a video where you show how to shorten the look of your forehead as you mentioned in this tutorial? When I apply bronzer on my forehead it always makes my face look disproportioned; I tend to highlight the temple area going into the forehead instead. But I will try this method. Thank you for the suggestion!

This was great. I think too many people concentrate WAY too much into the hairline. Like, yes, you want to get that area too, but not to the point it looks like a solid border framing your face. More people need to watch your video đ
