My daughter has seizures and is about to have her 2 brain surgery. She is on medication and we have been praying for years for her to be healed and set free. We even traveled to see Ken Fish but he only prayed over a certain person in the back room and never came back out. I can’t afford to buy his school training courses. I’m asking for help. I believe in Gods power but it seems like no one who says they operate in this kinda of power will pray over my child.

I appreciate Pastor Michael’s question about Legalism. As “religious” people we tend to hyper focus on what not to do 1. instead of rejoicing that we have fellowship with the living Triune God 2. Because of said fellowship he has given us authority/power to repent ask for forgiveness and cast out demons. Do we carelessly just live life and be exposed all sorts of demonic activity may it never be. But we should also not live in constant paranoid fear which often times is a result of Legalism .

I think that primarily we need the power of God in order to be able to love ❤. Romans 5:5
You need to have power in order to love someone who is ungrateful. You need power to be compassionate towards people that hurt you. You need power to visit people in prison, feed the hungry, and take an orphan under your roof. You need power to stay calm under pressure. You need power in order to be like Jesus in all circumstances.

This episode has left me with more questions than answers, please do a follow up. From what he was describing especially with the Mortal Kombat kid, it feels like God offers absolutely no protection to us and our kids and that we should always be on guard for what could "demonize" us as opposed to living life to the fullest in Christ. *Sigh* I'm confused.
Edit to say: Let's say there were a million copies of Mortal Kombat 3 sold in 2020, does it mean there were a million demonizations? Is there like a demon factory for mass demonization of people. Is it one demon? Is the game "protagonist" one demon that is possessing multiple people? Man, this is so confusing. I really love remnant radio but sometimes I hate how you invite people who say these things without fleshing out the background or circling back to what we see in the Bible. Does Christ not love us enough to protect us, are we all just walking around with spirits dangling on us?
    Yours Sincerely,
A sister who wants to grow in the gifts but is now so confused.

I have a question. If Jesus cast out a Legion, couldnt Ken have exorcised all the comic protagonists at once, instead of going through each and every comic book protagonist?

Sister in Christ..I ABSOLUTELY agree with your comment of how confusing it is as they addressed this issue, leaving so many unanswered and confusing loose ends. They really need to clarify their position, for after the interview with Alexander Pagani and Ken Fish (both genuine good brothers in Christ)....there is a real open door for the lambs watching this RR program to walk naively into teachings of many of the current "demon slayers" that are bizzaro bonkers in error, who are using sensationalism & sophistry and utterly unedifying..(I say that coupled with saying ,I still highly appreciate and honor and love so much of what RR has done in the past!) My advice to you to keep you from getting confused, is to keep focused on the Cross and the awesome power of salvation's ongoing work inside of us who have truly given our hearts to Him, and the truth "HE is able to save to the uttermost"

"Are we all just walking around with spirits dangling on us?" Precisely. On, in our flesh (the Holy Spirit has sealed our spirit) and in our soul (mind, will and emotions). One possible reason that many will feel offended at this is the notion that "having" demons mean you are a particularly bad person, when in reality everyone is susceptible because of our fallen nature and the spiritual nature "behind" the world. Most aren't afflicting people for no reason, there is bloodline sin from previous generations, personal willful sin, sins of ignorance, and things that can be picked up from willfully engaging in things (but in ignorance of the ramifications at times like in this case of the Mortal Kombat game). Most of the spiritual affliction we face is the result of human decision somewhere along the line, so its not that Christ doesn't love us enough to protect us, but as in Job, there are rules that God Himself follows as He is the perfect Judge. This just goes to show how much we really need the Lord!
It can be overwhelming at first, its tempting to want to be a spiritual hypochondriac and want to get squeaky clean, get rid of all the demons at once! Living our fullest in Christ means to grow in our relationship with Him more and more, and He will deliver us more and more just like how He told the Israelites to take the land little by little, driving out the inhabitants bit by bit. Whether its thru deliverance from other believers, or sovereign deliverance from Jesus Himself (for example I've received deliverance from dreams and speaking in tongues), the Lord will show you how true freedom in Him looks like now that He's opened your eyes to this spiritual reality, and as long as you desire it and yearn to follow Him more and more. He will replace what He takes out of you , the old gunk and demonic attachments , with more of Him and the original parts He intended you to have. But its not going to be overnight (and sometimes people even have trouble letting go of things that are keeping them demonized, been there done that). Just ask the Lord and He will take you through it, trying to freak out on your own and being on guard about everything all at once might become "charismatic legalism" like the guys in the video were mentioning. And it definitely helps to also ask Him to bring you mature and prophetic believers that can help, especially if hearing from God is a new thing for you as it is for many Christians.

Regarding God's love and protection: I love my kids, so that's why I tell them not to touch the hot stove. But if they ignore me and do it anyway, they will still get burned. Just being in proximity with the stove likely won't burn you, but when you intentionally engage with it, it becomes much more dangerous. Likewise with sin, just because we're saved doesn't mean there aren't natural consequences to sin. I.e., if I'm living a sexually impure life as a believer, I may still go to heaven, but I may also get STDs here on earth.
Also, I've heard remnant radio in the past say that just because you did a sinful thing doesn't mean you automatically get a demon. However, unrepentant sin opens the door to the demonic in your life, a chink in your armor.

Surely an exorcist needs to exorcise completely and DELIVER the person immediately, for Christ's sake. I am doubting the truth here.....and I certainly don't believe this possessed person was a Christian, otherwise he would not want to keep obsessing on the ocult, not if he was a Christian could he be possessed.

Having been to many, my advice is to avoid charismatic churches. Yes you'll find a different Jesus. He acts different, talks different. You'll find a preacher that in every sermon puts you in the place of Jesus in how you should act.
I once one Sunday to the next went from a charasmatic church to one that was not hearing a sermon the same text, the woman at the well. The non-charasmatic sermon took no that we are like the woman at the well, lost, having life somewhat together, in need and Jesus pursues us. The charasmatic sermon acted as if we are Jesus and should know the secrets of those we meet and point them out. The difference was shocking. As you can tell charasmatic pastor are always replacing Jesus and inserting themselves as Jesus. Then taking His power and role and using it to gather a following to themselves. Very dangerous.

So I'm just curious. When Ken spoke of how crucial and important prophetic ministry is because when there is a move of God underway, there will be prophets around the leading edge of that move, then he gave great examples of this from the Bible. Does anyone know of any examples like this in the last, let's say, 100 years?

    • @Alwizcaliteach
      @Alwizcaliteach Před 9 měsíci

He did say in the first 15 minutes or so that prophets have always been around in ALL of the other movements, though not branded as prophets per se. We see Martin Luther with a revelation, followed by the Baptists, and other denominations all splitting off with their own 'revelation,' adding hitherto unknown truths. This also shows how that prophets, though given bits of light that others weren't privy to, are prone to operate in the flesh in other areas, like persecuting other Christians. I guess it's according to how open you are to truth; rather different kinds of truth (while still closed to other lines of truth; e.g. Luther did not see, "Hey! God's not killing dissenters, so neither should we...God doesn't force himself upon anyone." But rather he still mis-interpreted the O.T. "Kill all the infidels!" You could check out FF Bosworth, Alexander Dowie, John G. Lake, Charles Finney. If you don't like reading, there's the somewhat watered-down CZcams video series called God's Commanders. I used to have a cool tract that showed all the breakaway denominations (off the Catholic Church and each other) and the different teachings they brought to light. Cool stuff. I think the takeaway there is how these denoms got light, walked in it; but then quit progressing...Seems like you see that in all churches, I mean, I'm guilty too of going so far and then seeming to be at a standstill; though I know there is so much more power and giftings to be had...Sorry if I went down different rabbit trails.

Using stories of experience is always dangerous to take as practise or teaching. They are just phenomena and knowing Christ has the authority over them it s the biblical teaching
Many years ago I witnessed many of the same phenomena after reading the Baptist charismatic book "Pigs in the Parlor", bizarre things moving across rooms, people becoming immovable and vomiting..
But by God's mercy was able to test the results of these "supposed deliverances" and found that what seemingly the Holy Spirit was false tounges and words of knowledge and visions that came in as a result of believing there were demons needing to be cast out.. in Christians.
Much that Ken Fish describes reminds me of that.
The Bible doesn't really teach much about demons the NT rather just assumes what people at the time believed and Jesus declared his authority over it all.

Not trying to be mean, but your critique doesn't make sense to me. You suggested that Ken relating experiences he had is a bad way of determining truth and then proceeded to justify your view by relating an experience you had. If your view is correct, you seemingly just violated it.
To be sure, relating experiences that are unbiblical would be a bad way to determine a doctrine. I dont think Ken is doing that tho. I would also add that many Christians today seem to have very little capacity for nuance. Every last thing has to be either explicitly spelled out in scripture or it's clearly wrong. Paul seems to say that some things are OK for some people and not OK for others. What might be Ok for one person might lead another person in sin of some sort.

    • @Liminalplace1
      @Liminalplace1 Před 10 hodinami

@@thirdparsonage not so. 1 John 4:1 says "Believe not every spirit but test the spirits"
That is a scriptural instruction that revealed the nature of the phenomenon I experienced many years ago. The authority was based in Scripture not the experiences. I reread my old comment, it makes perfect sense in response to the interview.
I doubt there is such a thing as a biblical or unbilical experience...its just phenomenon. Testing them by biblical criteria in terms of doctrine and fruit determines their source.

As he stated, "we can't always constantly say, "Jesus did that, not me!" Sometimes it doesn't work in informative, you can do it. too, storytelling. ("I was preaching...and Jesus cast out the demon...") I think it is altogether possible to say in passing "I cast out..." with humility, and everyone know that you know that it was God who did it and not you. It's a sad truth, though, that most people cannot and do not cast demons out. I include myself.

Good brothers of RR..I must repeat what I said in the comment after your previous program (as Pagani was interviewed)..It seems ,after hearing the anecdotes of apparent demons inside believers in this interview..it SEEMS that you at RR are going full blown Demon Slayers theology..but surely not...?? Please understand I love you brothers' frequently very wise words and balance and willingness to correct the egregious errors among our fellow charismatics..But cannot you see the confusion this issue is causing? You guys have clearly stated (and even Pagani and Saldivar have said it) "No! A born again Christian can NOT be demon possessed... but just demonized in their body and soul."..But brothers, have you seen the recent videos lately from demon-focus "circus acts" that are so bizarre and extrabiblical in display? They do NOT at all exalt the glorious Gospel, but rather stir up confusion and sensationalism and praise of the great deliverance power of the "demon slayers"..(Especially egregious are the new "apostles & prophets" out of Zimbabwe and South Africa!! And oh,yes, they focus on casting demons out of Christians)..There are REAL dangers going on in all of this ,brothers. The ungrounded lambs who are scared and dealing with besetting sins and fears or even genuine demonic oppressive attacks (from the outside!!) are NOT being well served if they're told that the reason they have besetting sins, habits or dark thoughts is that inside of them a writhing demonic being is living, which must be driven out!!!.... Can't we see that this denigrates and overshadows the wonderous power of the blood redemption as Christ said "It is finished!"?..or as St John wrote " he that is born of God overcomes the world, for greater is He in you than he (the devil) that is in the world... or St Paul's words "He HAS delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us INTO the Kingdom of His dear Son.
Please PLEASE, guys do not dismiss the position of AG and Calvary Chapel and Dr. Brown and others who say yes we CAN be oppressed or vexed, and yes at times we need deliverance from those outer chains of oppression, but a genuine child of God can NOT be at the same time inhabited by Christ AND also possessed by demons hiding somewhere inside. Please brothers, consider devoting a full program to clarifying whether or not Christians can have demons living inside them...For this issue is causing much fear and confusion, I promise you!!!
And my goodness, don't you know that Satan is delighted to watch those demon slayers carry on extended conversations with either real demons, as the crowd is entertained..... or actors..... or genuinely fooled naive people who sincerely THINK they have demons and pychosomatically play out the part ( as the vomit buckets are lined up!) Did we ever see this in the Book of Acts? No.
Again, I praise God for you brothers' past programing and I pray for you..But I am getting alarmed at what I'm hearing and I and others may have to stop encouraging others to listen to your podcasts..In sincere Christian love, I extend God's grace and peace to you guys!!

I am about to go to Zimbabwe to minister and do evangelism and let me tell you there are Christians there demonized. That is if we define a Christian as someone who culturally goes to church and has no relationship with the Lord on their own. The nation of Zimbabwe is very Christianized but no one on the street can tell you what the gospel is, kind of like the USA.
Is becoming a Christian saying a prayer while continuing in your sin unrepentant creating a mixture of local religion(witchcraft) and Christianity? Because that is very prevalent greater Harare region. A majority of the people I ministered to last year when I was there were open about practicing witchcraft going to witchdoctors, praying to ancestors being absolutely tormented while being self professed Christians. From first hand experience in that nation "Christians" can be oppressed even to the point of losing control of their body and manifesting demonic voices, puking, eyes rolling back, etc. Its not always like Hollywood but sometimes it is.
I am not defending the apostles or prophets in the region there because they might be witch doctors in a suit(also common)! At the same time I completely agree there are times of psychosomatical manipulation which is practically witchcraft, used to draw a crowd and get $ to display "power" not give glory to God.
There was a time after ministering in a village where my team translator started weeping and collapsed then reallY LOUDLY crying like ugly crying and one big shout and a spirit of fear type thing left her. And she was in seminary loved the Lord as much as anyone. We didn't even specifically pray for her the Holy Spirit just decided to do that. She went from shy, timid, and quiet to confident and proud of her heavenly Father in 2 min.
There seems to need specific freedom from the soul realm and a renewing of the mind so that someone can be free free from all demonic oppressions on their soul through the blood of Jesus following salvation. And I don't even fully agree with that but thats just what I see.
"He HAS delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us INTO the Kingdom of His dear Son." YES! such a powerful scripture to use in the deliverance of Christians. To drive out any demonic footholds. It seems like a stronghold or opendoor in the brain/thoughts of an individual gives the enemy a power of oppression even to the point of losing control of their body in SOME cases and needs to be addressed specifically in some cases.
Anyways thank you for your comment brought back some memories. Grace to you!

Friend, I'm trying to decipher your strange one-liner reaction: "you fool I spit"...If I were to take it at face value, why would a brother in Christ call another brother "you fool!" and say "I spit" (on you?) It's an outrageously unkind and unChristian response! Please reconsider. I pray for you...and absolutely, though I disagree with the brothers here on their claiming indwelling demons inside of believers, I honor and cherish them as my good brothers in Christ. Where are you on this?

Is your point in interviewing Ken to point out his own charismania to him?
I understand wanting to give different sides a voice but it’s unclear, at least to me, if you actually support this guy or just have him on here for a laugh and to egg him on a bit? If that is the case it’s not particularly kind.

Where is the gospel in all this? Theology based on experiences, not Biblical truth is questionable. Causing people to live in fear of the demonic belittles the power of the gospel of Christ Jesus.

finally someone calling these people out on this
this is just creating a spirit of fear and trying to put people back in bondage, they read "who the Son sets free is free indeed" and think "yeah, at one point in time, but now its up to ME to keep setting them free over and over again"
word of advice: do not listen to these guys when it comes to demons, they all believe a believer can harbor a demon, that the Holy Spirit cohabitates with a demon
i used to really like remnant radio until they brought on pagani
      that was the final straw

People may not like this. The moment I say Ken with his died black hair, I know we where in for a false teacher. Why can't he simple live with the hair God gave him, sad. He's old as dirt.

Ugh, 2 minutes of googling and Ken Fish was involved with the Vineyard movement or 3rd wave. Knowing what this means explains so much.

@@calebbonny8848 I had an idea things where kooky here. Remnant Radio is fully of snake oil sales man. Selling courses for $150-$300 on "how to be a prophet" and much more.
So bizzare. This is one of the reasons an unbelieving world find unbelievable: people claiming Chist and selling a scam for money. Reminds me of Amway so much.
