If you like this movie check out While You Were Sleeping. Sandra's character has a similar backstory and the granny character is similar to Betty White's, but without the sass. 😅

Which was everyone's favorite Betty White role? One of mine was probably as Steve Martin's super racist neighbor in "Bringing Down the House" with Queen Latifah. I don't think anyone else could have pulled off that role and still be so loved even as she did it. She said something racist and you were like "oh you rascal."
The altar scene reminds me of another Sandra Bullock movie "While you were sleeping". If you haven't seen it, you should. It's hilarious!

This is such a great movie! Since you’re trying to watch romance movies this month I highly recommend the 2005 Pride and prejudice movie if you haven’t already picked out all the movies you’re gonna do. It’s a classic but it’s also pretty funny because it’s quite awkward at times.

I was definitely not been able to unsee that dancing in the woods scene, I laughed so hard when I first watched it. Still love that scene.
The exotic dance as well, my sister, my mom and I reference that quite a lot 😆

I'm getting married to my fiancé in August and- from what I understand - I will have prove the legitimacy of our marriage to change his temporary residency to permanent. I think they interview me, my family, look at social media, etc. They said it would probably take 6 months a couple thousand dollars. It's freaking me out but it will be worth it

I still say they did the 'she's on her way in' skit better in 'The Devil Wears Prada' and a great parody of it twice in 'Ugly Betty'.
R.I.P. to the irreplaceable Betty White. I know it sounds foolish to say, but I couldn't imagine her ever leaving this world. She has outlived a lot of people.
Her kind heart, sassy wit and warm charm will be missed. But she's left a lifetime of amazing work to keep remembering her by.
