This reminds me of how I used my last two Cousin's. I made them into horizontal Weeks layout's instead of the vertical and just had one page for notes and lists, while the altered weekly layout was for timed things. A whole lot of washi and printer ink was used, but I just didn't want to go into bujo mode as that was "too much". ^^; don't know if that makes any sense. My daily pages I treated as just 'as is' and wrote as much as I wanted to, adding sticker or a printout to cover up because I usually never wrote two days in a row and if I did, I just wrote the date. :)
Love the dropshadow work you have there and the left page layouts. Never let a printed planner bully you into it's frames completely.

As a bullet journaler who’s switched over to a dated planner I always struggled with weekly vertical spreads so I used the hobonichi weeks for the horizontal layout because it’s easier for my brain since I plan based on my energy levels for tasks. I hadn’t thought of using my old bullet journal methods as a dashboard section in the weekly before! 🤯 Amazing!! I’ll definitely be bringing my old bullet journaling style back into one of my planners for 2024! (I’m using 4/5 plus a few more niche journals 😬😅) Thank you for sharing! 💕

what color is the light shadow marker you are using?
