    Black Woodpecker
    The Black Woodpecker(Dryocopus martius) is a large woodpecker that lives in mature forests. It is one of the largest species of woodpeckers. The plumage of this woodpecker is entirely black with a red crown. Its food is mainly carpenter-ants.
    Red-bellied Woodpecker
    This woodpecker is a medium-sized woodpecker of the family Picadae. The adults are mainly light gray on the face and underparts. They have black and white barred patterns on their back, wing and tail. Adult males have a red cap going from bill to the nape; females have a red patch on the nape and another above the bill. This species feeds on arthropods, acorns and nuts, fruits, seeds, small vertebrates, and occasionally sap and nectar.
    Pileated Woodpecker
    The Pileated Woodpecker (Dryocopus pileatus) is a large, mostly black woodpecker native to North America. This woodpecker is mainly black with a red crest and has a white line down the sides of the throat. It mainly eat insects.
    Great Spotted Woodpecker
    The Great Spotted Woodpecker is medium-sized with pied black and white plumage and a red patch on the lower belly. This species is found across the Palearctic including parts of North Africa. It eats seeds and insects.
    Northern Flicker Woodpecker
    The Northern Flicker Woodpecker is a medium-sized bird of the woodpecker family. It can be found in North America, Central America and Cayman Islands. It plumage is brown with white tail, black bars with tip. It eats insects, seeds and fruits.
    Lesser Yellownaped Woodpecker
    This woodpecker is medium-sized and can be found in tropical and sub-tropical Asia, primarily the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. It has a colourful crest. The upperparts are green apart from the bright yellow tufted nape. The neck and breast are green and the belly is whitish, finely barred with green. The rump and tail are blackish. It eats insects mainly.
    Yellow Bellied Sapsucker
    The Yellow Bellied Sapsucker is a medium-sized woodpecker and breeds in Canada and the Northeastern America. The forehead is coloured bright red with white and black stripes on the face.
    The yellow-bellied sapsucker usually forages by itself, although it sometimes joins small groups in the winter, and occasionally mixes into flocks of insectivores in the winter
