Unfortunately I cannot find a version containing the original PPS Socialist lyrics
Warszawianka 1905 roku" Is a Polish Socialist Revolutionary song written some time around 1879 - 1883. The song became immensely popular amongst during the Revolution of the Kingdom of Poland in 1905 where Polish workers militants fought against the Russian Empire and became the anthem of Worker Protests. The song, much like L'internationale has been dubbed in many, many languages across the world and has become an anthem of Socialism.
Lyrics of this version:
Śmiało podnieśmy sztandar nasz w górę!
Choć burza wrogich żywiołów wyje,
Choć nas dziś gnębią siły ponure,
Chociaż niepewne jutro niczyje...
O!... bo to sztandar całej ludzkości,
To hasło święte, pieśń zmartwychwstania,
To tryumf pracy - sprawiedliwości,
To zorza wszystkich ludów zbratania
Naprzód, Warszawo!
Na walkę krwawą,
Świętą a prawą!
Marsz, marsz, Warszawo!
Dziś, gdy roboczy lud ginie z głodu,
Zbrodnią w rozkoszy tonąć, jak w błocie;
I hańba temu, kto z nas za młodu
Lęka się stanąć choć na szafocie!
Nikt za ideę nie ginie marnie,
Z czasem zwycięża Chrystus Judasza!
Niech święty ogień młodość ogarnie,
Choć wielu padnie - lecz przyszłość nasza!
Naprzód, Warszawo!
Na walkę krwawą,
Świętą a prawą!
Marsz, marsz, Warszawo!
Śmiało podnieśmy sztandar nasz w górę!
Choć burza wrogich żywiołów wyje,
Choć nas dziś gnębią siły ponure,
Chociaż niepewne jutro niczyje...
O!... bo to sztandar całej ludzkości,
To hasło święte, pieśń zmartwychwstania,
To tryumf pracy - sprawiedliwości,
To zorza wszystkich ludów zbratania
Naprzód, Warszawo!
Na walkę krwawą,
Świętą a prawą!
Marsz, marsz, Warszawo!
English:
Let us raise boldly our banner,
Even though a storm of hostile elements is howling
Even though sinister forces oppress us today,
Even though everybody's tomorrow is uncertain.
Oh, this is the banner of the whole mankind,
The sacred call, the song of resurrection,
It's the triumph of labor and justice,
It's the dawn of the brotherhood of all peoples!
Forward, Warsaw!
To the bloody fight,
Sacred and righteous!
March, march, Warsaw!
Today, when the working people are starving,
To indulge in luxury is a crime -
Shame to the young among us
Who are afraid to mount the gallows!
For an idea nobody will die in vain,
In time Jesus Christ will overcome them!
Let the holy fire engulf the people,
Many will fall for our future!
Forward, Warsaw!
To the bloody fight,
Sacred and righteous!
March, march, Warsaw!
Let us raise boldly our banner,
Even though a storm of hostile elements is howling
Even though sinister forces oppress us today,
Even though everybody's tomorrow is uncertain.
Oh, this is the banner of the whole mankind,
The sacred call, the song of resurrection,
It's the triumph of labor and justice,
It's the dawn of the brotherhood of all peoples!
Forward, Warsaw!
To the bloody fight,
Sacred and righteous!
March, march, Warsaw!
Piękne wykonanie, Niech żyje Polska!
Cześć i chwała bohaterom! Wolność! Równość! Niepodległość!
Niech żyje Polska!
I try to find the original version of that song for some time now (the one with “Z czasem pokona chrystus judasza “ quote). If anyone knows where I can find it please respond to my comment and tell me where I can find it
if i remember coresctly in communst version they cut out references to christianity so maybe it is orginal lyrics
Yes it was in polish socialist party version. "In time, Christ of Judas wins!
Let the holy fire embrace youth...". I never heard that version btw.
The lyrics were NOT Communist. People who wrote the song were social democrats.
Read the description
Social Democracy back then was far more left-lening this was before the socialist split into modern social-democrats and what would become communist parties.
@@JonaFaschoschreck161 Back then Russia (which occupied Warsaw) had a political system of present day Saudi Arabia.
The song was written for social Democrats however all versions I've found including this one were the ones with the later modified lyrics
@@defendfreedom1390 Thats not a simple as you paint it to be: yes the russian empire was an absolute authoritarian monarchy, however you had still political parties like the PPS wich was founded in 1892.
The Social-Democratic Socialist Split did not happen until WW1.
Russia back then had many Socialist, Social-Democratic, Anarchist and Liberal movements, a lot of them were acting in the underground and took part in the Russian Revolution in 1905.
I Recommend Playing it at 1.2.
piękne, ko Komunizmowi!
Komunizm to zaraza
W imieniu Polski podziemnej...

Dodam informacje do tytułu i opisu
Version PZPR
Those are socialist lyrics, not communist. Just like the emblem of PPS
The original one had mentions of Jesus, removed in this one
PPS od 131 lat ma nadal największą bazę. Niech istnieje do końca świata i jeszcze dłużej!
Czytając ten komentarz pomyślałem o tobie i patrzę że to ty XDD
Dzisiejsze PPS to hańba.
