I also read about how she had to struggle with really nasty people and situations that were very uncomfortable but she was born for this and she rose above it . its commendable how she got to the top by playing safe in this age when journalism in india is in shreds. doesn't support the gov, but the narrative opined by them and at the same time doesn't question the gov either. in the good books of everybody. diplomatic or opportunistic? can't say.
I think that is what she clarified at the end of this video, how to maintain diplomacy to avoid getting into trouble. She also indirectly admitted that she compromises a bit on her intelligence to generate more viewership to her videos.

Okay, I followed this lady when she was on the other platform. When I saw she was not on there anymore I looked for her until I found her on Firstpost. Although, I am dismayed by what she is saying it is the truth. Because of what people are watching, the more factual and unbiased journalism is of the past. Sigh. But it does explain why I saw on Firstpost a clip on a rapper! I was saying to myself, "Who cares?! " I want real news on the other side of the world. I can go to other entertainment news for that. But as she said...ratings...ugh!

Firstpost is owned by Reliance afterall who funds all this, in particular, religious debates, jihad propaganda, Islamophobia, and mass genocide of muslims. One of their Channels News18 Anchor (Aman chopra) has been fined 50k but supreme court said 50k is nothing for such anchors spreading hate all the time.
If you want real international news, BBC, The Guardian, Al-Jazeera are your best bet.
And NYT, Washington Post, for American News.
