I often receive questions about what happens to the snow loaded on trucks and what we do with it, so I've made a video about it. It may take some time, but I plan to add English subtitles as well, so please stay tuned. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them below.
In Sapporo, Hokkaido, there is a service called "seasonal snow removal." This service involves removing snow accumulated in front of houses once a week from the end of December until the middle of March. The cost varies by area but is generally between 30,000 to 50,000 yen.（220 dollars, 370 dollars） The service is not limited to residential houses but is also available for stores, private clinics, parking lots, and various other clients. The fee remains the same regardless of whether it snows or not. If it doesn't snow, it's a relief for the service providers.

It doesn't take minutes to unload the snow either .when theres no snow is the place where you unload the snow is it still open n what eles do they do there when no snow is around please ? The first truck ride it looked like they were going to a quarry but im sure thats not the case .
Second ride the place looks bigger place .

This snow removal area is mostly land owned by builders and civil engineering contractors.
Sapporo City pays and borrows a huge amount of money during the winter.
If left alone, snow will remain until around June.
Therefore, we use heavy equipment to break down the mountain and make it easier to melt.
Snow falls in Sapporo from late December to mid-March.
The average annual snowfall is said to be 5 meters.
Some years it's more, some years it's less.
If I can take another video when the snow melts, I would like to do it!

基本的には放置に近いです。
それだけでは時間がかかるので、重機で山を崩して融けやすくします。
それでも、多いところは5月の大型連休ぐらいまで残っているところは残っていますよ。
