- Filmed on 31/05/2022. The third and final trainspotting session of the day once again brings us back to the city of true grit and Steel. Yes, this is the Steel City of Sheffield. (Season 9 Episode 17)
Rather than get straight down to trainspotting, we decided to get the updated automated announcements at Sheffield first. For an evening trainspotting session at Sheffield, it does show as ever just on how busy Sheffield really can be.
Since with the rules lifted, face coverings are no longer required on public transport and no social distancing needed which means that all train operators can really make use of of all their space on their trains.
A thing of the past now as East Midlands Railways daily services between London ST Pancras through to Leeds no longer operates only running as far as Sheffield now onwards. But, their 4 carriage Meridians are now becoming 5 carriage units. Also, they are now planning to go into their refurbishment to have brand new interiors fitted.

Help me please. How do trains that go to Hull then go to Sheffield? Is there a change over at hull interchange. I'm a train fan but I never new this
It's okay Olly, I'll explain it to you. At Gilberdyke, there's a line which runs via Goole which then joins the East Coast Mainline just north of Doncaster station. It is also the North Lincolnshire Line which runs to Cleethorpes.
13:55 Graffiti train! Looks quite nice to be honest
It may look nice but because they vandalised a train, this service might have been cancelled.
It's alright to do graffiti art but do it legally and safely and also they should also have permission to do graffiti art but not on the railways.
@@RickyNowis I agree. One of my local towns has been absolutely ruined because of Graffiti. Also It doesn't say it's cancelled on the video? It says 158 8513 when you meant 158 813 as well.

That 150275 I went on that 3 times that day.
I went from Rotherham to Doncaster on 10.19 service which is on CZcams the journey
Also I went from Doncaster to Adwick on 13.47 service
Then I got 14.24 Adwick to Rotherham on this Northern 150275 which I filmed it from Doncaster to Rotherham.
Blimey, looks like 150275 was your Stalker train for that day. Mind you, saying that it does get around quite a bit.
It's done a few trips on Yorkshire Coast/World's Coast Line to Bridlington and Scarborough.
