Kudos for showing enthusiasts on how to disassembly and assemble a axis style lock. Axis style lock with ball bearings is alot easier then washers. The pivot tolerance on some, BM, is so tight it can be a real peat to get the pivot pin in while aligning the washers as well. I have assembled them in a few minutes and some I had to walk away for a minute...lol.
Finally! Finally! A review of a knife I already have. 😆 Got this a few weeks ago as my first axis lock. I'm very please with it. Pretty sharp right out of the box, nice action, and love that blade shape. Glad i didn't try taking it apart. 😆
I am glad that you did an axis lock. EF has been putting out a better grade product from the other one I bought. You make taking apart knives fun. I now know that I am not the only one fumbling around looking for the damn stop pin! Stay Sharp!
I don't do a lot of commenting, but man you have the most entertaining and informative knife videos on the web, Beez! Keep it going dude, you are awesome.
I got to say. I'm impressed. This is definitely one to put to work. I think the time that I appreciate these locks, is when I'm using my knife a lot. For quickly in and out of the pocket, a crossbar lock serves me well.
You're a brave man BB disassembling omega springs, it's not for the fainthearted. Nice big belly(on the blade) D2 steel. Great budget knife. Thanks brother.
Naa it's really pretty straightforward... if you want something that is a fickle little thing to take fully apart and put back together it's Spydercos Bearing lock.. not super hard but it will deff test you if you don't know what your doing.
Hey BEEZ.😊 I've had this model in my Amazon cart many times, I know it's in my saved items still. The blade shape is what made me like it. I knew it had good reviews from everyone on CZcams. Now that you've reviewed it I'm definitely gonna get it. You did good taking that apart. I had trouble with the Eafengrow EF966 bearfly because it had washers. You taught me a new trick too. Excellent review. Thanks 😊👍🔪 and thanks for the video. Have a great rest of the week.😊
I watched this review and ordered one because of it. Just got it delivered and I can say for the money and short time in my hands, I’m loving the knife. Thanks for the review!
That's a nice knife. Thank God for doo-dads or that knife reassembly might have been rougher. Thanks for showing it to us. I learned something. Have a bee-lessed evening bro. 🐝🐝😊
I like your channel because your not just showing off Titanium M390 super expensive knives every day. The majority of people cant afford those and like cheaper options. I've had this in my Amazon cart for awhile I think you talked me into it.👍
Yes I want to see another cross-bar lock! How did you know? More knife wizardry I'm guessing. 👀That's one of my favorite Eafengrow designs. I'm ashamed to say I don't own one yet. Thanks for the review Beez. 👍Have a good rest of your day.
The last two crossbar locks I got from them are great. They're definitely headed in the right direction! You're very welcome, my friend! The rest of the day will be good. I'm going to hop on my mower and make the grass look nice and fresh!
Love the more complicated mechanism tear down videos Mr. Beez! They're especially good when everything DOESN'T go smoothly, way more opportunity for learning in my opinion! I have owned one of these particular EF's for several months now. It's why I have a few more EF's since then as I was so impressed with this one especially when I think about what I paid for it!
Thank you. I definitely like sharing the experiences, even the frustrating ones 🤣. I figure, if someone else gets one of these they can look it up and it'll be a better experience for them. I think these knives are fantastic, for the price!
It looks almost as nice as my Petrified Fish Bunta. Same steel, same knife scale's texture and finish, same "POW right in the kisser" action 😁 The PE has hidden pocket clip screws but not the axis lock. These EDC knives are cool.
Definite words to live by [especially at age 80] : Live life in the present (I love presents), keep a band-aid handy (I am on blood thinners), don't cut yourself (or cut yourself short.....life goes by fast). Tip: When performing a 'paper cut' test....make sure blade contacts paper. God bless you Beez
Looks good, hopefully Eafengrow will keep making new designs and stop selling and making the whole clone thing. This one is very appealing to me as I love an axis lock knives and the price is great, Definatly makes for a good work knife and the size is good for any tasks. Also like the blade shape and the opening method, the takedown went pretty smoothly as well as the reconstruction. Thanks for the great vid Beez and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
Great show! Love catching up with all of your programs. I noticed that you almost lost some screws, stoppers and such, get a little magnetic tray so you can slap those little bad boys on the magnet and they’ll never go anywhere. Thank you for letting me be a part of the community and I’ll catch up with you soon.
They are making fixed blades in 14c28n, I have been trying to talk them in to starting to do folders in 14c and getting over the D2 trend... if they do they will sell a whole hell of a lot more knives.. the community will take very kindly to 25 to 30 dollar models in 14c.
I under estimated how difficult the disassembly of a crossbar style lock would be the first time, I’m glad you had the video of the Cmb predator because I wasn’t sure if it was suppose to be that hard to put back together lol.
Got this one a few weeks back in jade. Was planning on trying a gradient dye job on the scales but I ended up liking the knife so much I don't want to ruin it!
I was wondering when you were going to get around to this old girl I got this one in the Jade back when I went HAM on the EF Axis style locks I picked up the EF3 EF321, EF966, the EF963 you have here and my personal favorite the EF950! The 3 and the 321 are like 9in. Monsters I'm pretty sure those two are older models or modeled after older styles and then obviously the 966 is the little my car to one and these two tough toss up but which one I like better but I just like the blade shape on the 950 a little bit more a little more stabby I prefer that over this slightly leaf Point shape but don't get me wrong the 963 slices and dices it also makes Julienne Fries! Love the Budget knives BEEZ I just wish EF like Sitivien would do some more different locks like the axis, frame or throw me a friggin button lock over here!
Hey 🐝🐝 My technique at disassembling an axis lock is brutally simple. I DON'T ‼️ The pile of screws, various knife parts and assorted junk never to be whole again is big enough 🤣
Yep that axis lock can be a pain to reassemble. A Benchmade was the first knife I took apart to clean and it was a doozie to get back together. Now I only have trouble when I drop parts. Lol Great looking little knife that will go on my list. Want that Kizer Assassin and the Drop Bear first. See you tonight on the live feed guys.
I've been looking at this one off and on, but I already have like 15 Eafengrow knives. Same reason I stopped buying sitivien knives for the moment, got too many of them. Been trying to buy other budget brands recently, got a petrified fish on the way.
Eafangrow are some of my favorite work knives right behind Ganzo and there action is very good on the crossbar locks. Thanks for sharing and see you in the Hivestream
Thank you bees love the looks of it price sounds fantastic. Shape and size looks just right. Wow thank you for the video👍👍🤠🤠🎯🎯🗡🗡🔪🔪 I have had efangrow before they change to better company they're pretty good nights then imagine this one will be fantastic! Price is very nice!

I’ve seen this knife on Amazon. Looks super, for the cost in particular! I did the same thing with the pivot putting the Tanto Beluga back together!! I have come to the realization that I prefer to spend my “knife money” on slightly more expensive knives. Most of my purchases have been Kizer, Petrified Fish and QSP. Some higher end knives in the $200 range but the $50-$100 range seems to fit me. Thanks for enabling me with your Jedi mind powers 🤘🏻😳😎
👍Video, Man thank you! Just got an EF963. My first cross-bar lock, it hurts my finger to release, so I'm wondering does it get any smoother or easier?. 🤣 it adds an air of excitement when you're doing it on video, and not just leisurely taking it apart 😅
Axis lock is my favorite ! Bearings. Make it Even Better..Hope. B. M. Is. Watching 👀
I don't do a lot of commenting, but man you have the most entertaining and informative knife videos on the web, Beez! Keep it going dude, you are awesome.
D-Shaped Pivot, yes please. This would be a great beater and a really good knife to practice Axis style lock maintenance on.
I got to say. I'm impressed. This is definitely one to put to work. I think the time that I appreciate these locks, is when I'm using my knife a lot. For quickly in and out of the pocket, a crossbar lock serves me well.
That is a Beauty 👍😀
Axis locks are a little Tricky to assembly
Well done my friend and very nice Video 👍
It's a nice knife...as a lefty I look real hard at axis style knives.
This is definitely a good beater knife. One of these days, maybe when I retire, I will look into doing holes on the show side to add a clip 😁😁

Yes, it is! Doodads to the rescue! 😅.

Best knife Eafengrow has made!
I like your channel because your not just showing off Titanium M390 super expensive knives every day. The majority of people cant afford those and like cheaper options. I've had this in my Amazon cart for awhile I think you talked me into it.👍
I’ve got the jade scales. It’s bitten me more than my dog. One of my favorites.

EF knives are way too great for their price!! My favorite budget brand, especially since Ganzo keeps raising their prices

@@BeezBlades yes it was 😆
Loving the content Beez!
Thank you!
Hello Beez. Nice knife but I avoid D2 because of the humidity down here. I wish 14c gets more popular with budget knives
Pretty cool looking knife! Efangrow has really changed for the good under the new ownership.
Liking it. How does it compare in handle thinness to the Riffle? Is it much chunkier? Still love that blade regardless. You the man Beez! Up top🤚!
It's not as thin as the riffle, but I wouldn't call it a beast either. ✋

Good afternoon Beez, I like it don't have an axis lock and $30 oh yeah I'm in thank you
