Dude! Nice! I love this tune! This song inspired me a lot when I heard it in Inside Llewyn Davis.
I really liked the last third of the video where you give advice on singing along and kind of practicing being "outside yourself". Super super insightful and helpful. Thank you
yeah, it's a great tune. and man, thanks for saying that. There's times when I ramble about something and feel like I'm in the zone and it rings true. And when I edit the video I sometimes second guess the intuition, "uh, does this only sound good in my own head, am I sure this is worth leaving in". So thanks. Comments like that are helpful. I was even thinking of cutting out that segment and making it it's own little stand alone video

Me and a lot of others are impressed and inspired by your teaching style.Lucky I was that you jumped in to Dave van Ronk.This lesson was exellent.And I been around for some time,checking out lessons.Dave van Ronk was extremely creative regarding songs and lyrics.Changed and invented new lines in old songs.Both in music and lyrics.The foremost example regarding these claims,in my opinion are "Frankie`s blues".He speculates in the lyrics,the theme is Frankie and Johnny.(I like bb broonzy version)."What u gonna do when your Candy man has is gone".This is greater poesi than Shakespeare".In addition he makes a new melody"....czcams.com/video/othKNOwuGNc/video.htmlsi=3rTIYfnBHxOXmvZI
