Hurricane Michael Passes by Clearwater Beach, Florida

Check out this time-lapse video from Surfside Condos on Clearwater Beach as Hurricane Michael passes by about 200 miles away on October 10, 2018. There was a 2 foot storm surge which brought the Gulf of Mexico farther up on the beach than normal. The peak wind at Surfside was 46 mph on October 9th with a steady 15 to 20 mph wind over a two day period. As you watch the video you will see the direction of the clouds shift as the center moves farther north.
