- Receiving my Reiki I training transformed my life. This video is the story of my first Reiki training and how I followed omens and my intuition to go from community organizing in Dallas to living in sacred shamanic community at Blue Thunder Lodge in Denton, TX.
Reiki has now (as of 2020) helped me heal from a disabling condition, improve my mental-emotional health, and reduce pain and headaches. I received my attunement from a Reiki master in person. I have never tried receiving one from CZcams. I know the experience for me was very magical, and I have also been able to ask questions about Reiki as they arise since I have a relationship with my teacher. I had a friend who received an attunement through a book, and it was problematic for her. I would pray for the right teacher and check with my intuition about the effectiveness of an online attunement.

Great story, gave me goosebumps :) I Just had a long distance attunement 5 days ago, wasn't quite sure what to expect, so far it's actually been quite chaotic, in good and bad ways, including long term relationships abruptly ending, emotional outbreaks and sensitivity, vivid healing dreams, aches and pains disappearing over night.. pretty interesting so far. :)
Where you the one who ended the relationships or did people just change around you ?
I hope you start a door to door org like ACORN and hire people with Dreads to sell Kitchen Hydroponic units unbelievably cheap and hand out info. to organize Community Solar and share the energy even if you don't have a roof !! Keep Healin the Earth and it's people sister !! Love You !!

Awesome! I have studied multiple times with multiple Reiki masters from various branches and have loved every training I have taken or taught. The International Center for Reiki Training offered the Holy Fire after I took the original training through them, and it has been a powerful addition to the original Usui Reiki.
Universal Source energy is wonderful and the universe always gives me the things I need to, without having to ask which happens most of the time, but never ceases to amaze me. It's good I feel to express gratitude back to the universe through giving a little of something to help others. Thus keeping the energy always in positive flow. This is just something I do but everyone has their own way or style and I appreciate that as I'm sure the universe does too! 😊💛x
Ever since I started down a spiritual path, I experienced situations that defied logic or reason (items materializing out of thin air, plans to travel to Sedona made first in dreams, and healing encounters arranged in the middle of the wilderness... It's hard to even explain, but I used to be a raving atheist and now am a huge believer in a spiritual source of love that guides us and blesses our life. I learned reiki puts us on our perfect spiritual path, which has drawn me to a variety of deep spiritual practices and traditions. This spiritual connection has incredibly blessed my life. I am happy you also feel so blessed by the universe!
I know, though, through Buddhism and that terrible period of pain that suffering is inevitable in life. Birth, aging, sickness, death, are all suffering. But we have the capacity to transform all suffering in the present moment here and now. Thankfully impermanence means suffering always leaves and blessings do as well. Equanimity is the goal for me these days.

@@peacefulpresents I got kinda stressed overwhelmed with grad school so this was the perfect reminder to get back to doing reiki. I guess I haven't practiced enough since being attuned. Sometimes I question am I doing it right because at times I feel nothing when I used to feel warmth & tingling. I've only sent it distance wise to a few people. Would u lay your hands on yourself the same way u would on a client? I'm excited for the changes to come through this healing gift.
@@anitaknight3915 Grad school can be totally stressful, and giving myself Reiki definitely helped me handle it. I actually started my degree in a wheelchair and finished walking without a cane, so it was a useful tool for sure. :) Sometimes I would charge the classroom I was in with Reiki also!
As far as no longer noticing warmth or tingling, that might mean there is no byosen (sick ki) to sense. The byosen feels different based on the severity of illness. If you don't feel heat and tingles, it may be a sign that area needs less Reiki. I always scan the byosen before and after a treatment by moving my hands over the body. Then I treat the most severe spots first, by hovering over the body, before placing hands. I also heal myself the same way as a client, but usually with less fanfare (music, crystals, etc.). I often send myself Reiki on my daily commute and also when resting at home. Sometimes I use a doll and send distance healing so that I can sense more of what is going on. Good luck! You might also benefit from attending a Reiki share so you can practice with others.

I noticed positive effects instantly. I felt something shift during the actual attunement and remember feeling extraordinarily peaceful as I drove home afterwards. It was a mystical experience. Congratulations on your attunement!

How far have you taken your attunements?
I have received Usui Reiki Master attunement twice through different teachers, and also received the Holy Fire Reiki Master attunement.
I hate to ask this question but in the process of exploring reiki I learned something that boggled my mind. Chujiro Hiyashi ...I hope Im spelling that right........omg commit Hari Kari???? Thats so insanely horrific!!!
Yes I do get its a cultural thing but I cant imagine proceeding with reiki now that I know that the person who was second in line did this. Such horrible energy!
Legend has it that Hayashi appeared to his student Takata in a dream, asking her to visit Japan. When she arrived, she found him and his close associates gathered. He planned to will himself to death in a deep meditative state and supposedly did so in front of this group. His reasoning was that Japan was entering a war, and as a nonviolent Buddhist, he did not want to kill others. So instead of becoming enlisted, he voluntarily entered into death. The validity or truthfulness of this is left to each individual to ascertain, but this is the myth or tale as I have heard it.
This is in 1940, BTW.
