Actually, I think they kept shifting through the different art/animation styles to celebrate the past episodes that used them. I mean, it IS the grand finale of the 10-year anniversary season, after all.

The toon force can be applied to people who don't have it. Space jam proved it when a regular human got turned into a pancake. But the human couldn't get restored unless a toon helped them. So he could still be alive. But don't get me wrong he did lose the fight. He just didn't die in the normal way, he was turned to eggs.

Honestly Tanjiro vs Jonathan feels... weird? Like, two of the biggest good boys in shonen anime, I get it. The death battle would be decided by both of them going "no, I insist, you make the first move" until one of them keels over from starvation. When I saw the preview, Tanjiro is one of the few I was able to make out. I told my girlfriend that he would be in next season and she suggested he should fight Inuyasha. I think that would be a good one. Shonen protag demon slayer vs shonen protag demon. Plus both of their series are more based in "reality" than a lot other anime. Like people aren't destroying planets or completely shattering reality on a daily basis.

I feel like Jinx is going up against Harley Quinn. Junkrat would be interesting but it does feel like Jinx probably would out "explosive" him with the variety of weapons at her disposal (whereas you could bet Quinn would probably have a field day messing with Jinx as soon as she figures out her deal). Kind of feels like with the amount of individuals Harley has fought (and how Jinx didn't really showcase her full potential yet and probably would have the Ekko fight count against her), it could become one sided, but would still be a fun match to watch.
Jinx might outdo Junkrat in sheer variety, but Junkrat (and Roadhog) sat in the middle of an explosion that leveled a warehouse and came out fine. She might not have anything to put him down.
@@RikoZerame Ik it's very possible to scale Jinx to other Champions, which could get her higher than that explosion, I think it was like, Town or something, scaling through to Malphite. and it's unfair to downscale her from Ekko since that's at the start of both of their tenor's, before Jinx has her full arsenal, and before Ekko even has his time powers. Also I'm not sure Jinx really has those same weaknesses to exploit anymore, in-game she doesn't care about getting called Powder anymore.

Jinx and Malphite have never met, and fighting a literal living mountain would be so massively above literally everything else Jinx has ever done--including the canon comic where she met Ziggs--that it should be discarded as an outlier even if she had canonically fought Malphite in a meaningful way. People mostly cite Arcane because it's the biggest chunk of lore the characters have had in a while, and everything indicates it's the direction they're sticking with for now, what with the exclusive skins, Wild Rift events, and Arcane's lore and characterizations better matching the new Piltover/Zaun relationship than the old stuff.

The Most Best Epic Battle! 🥳 Saitama finally found the strongest opponent with who he had always dreamed of fighting! He was able to experience strong emotions again, as at the very beginning of his path to becoming a hero! Sad he is died and turned in Egg ... since this is Death Battle 😕, but Popeye's ToonForce is so absurd that he can revive Saitama anytime he wants!😀
it is three static, low quality images of Popeye throwing a rock at the animator, 3 images that we don't know the source of. There isn't any actual animation. Only reason I find it weird though is cuz we don't know where it's from.
As for Jinx being in the next season because of the netflix show, wouldn't they have planned this season months in advance? Would they have known to put it on the schedule?
To be fair, Akuma VS Shao Kahn wasn't added to Season 8 until sometime during the mid-season break, so clearly they do alter stuff late into production
Scarlett Witch is gonna be in the next season.. and it's gonna be interesting to see who she's gonna fight. considering that her powers are absolutely absurd. in one comic, she uttered the words: "no more mutants", and every mutant's powers in the entire planet was removed. possibly including hers. so that means that Scarlett Witch is planet-level.

it is three static, low quality images of Popeye throwing a rock at the animator, 3 images that we don't know the source of. There isn't any actual animation. Only reason I find it weird though is cuz we don't know where it's from.

To be fair, Akuma VS Shao Kahn wasn't added to Season 8 until sometime during the mid-season break, so clearly they do alter stuff late into production
Scarlett Witch is gonna be in the next season.. and it's gonna be interesting to see who she's gonna fight. considering that her powers are absolutely absurd. in one comic, she uttered the words: "no more mutants", and every mutant's powers in the entire planet was removed. possibly including hers. so that means that Scarlett Witch is planet-level.

@@williamconwell6105 They apply numbers to the full on toonforce characters too, just being a toon doesn't mean you can't be measured, they did the Mask and Pinkie Pie already. Even Scrooge McDuck almost falls in that category too, but you can still calculate stuff they're capable of.
