I think everyone overestimates De Gea. Around 2017 and 2018, he had high numbers in saving, but the last few years the saves were the same as an average keeper and he lacked the distribution and sweeping required of a modern keeper. When he make a lot of big saves, it tends to impress you and make you think he is a good player, but you should look at football more dispassionately.

Diffrent styles relate to Quality, i jave never seen a goalkeeper dive over the ball so many times, and going with two hands all the time disadvatage, jumping around like a frog De gae All day evey day. Guaranteed if they were both on the market today De Gae gets the contract 🎉

Both were great but i think De Gea did stood out with certain ability which is really required of GK......Onana ability with the ball at his leg also made him an outstanding GK...... Both GK are good at what they do but De Gea definitely got more rating from me

I feel that The current United defence would be playing a great deal better if De Gea was in goal. This Club has a good Keeper warming the bench. Can some one tell me why he is not playing in goal ahead of the current keeper. Beggers believe. I wonder if De Gea his having a quite chuckle. I remember a United Goalkeeper making a couple of mistakes in a Cup Final, United v Crystel Palace. Come the replay Sir Alex replaced him with Les Sealy for the replay. United went on to win the replay. This demonstarated that Sir Alex was not afriad to replace players. Les Sealy gave the United defence confidence. He was not afriad to tell off his defenders if they made mistakes. He was in the team that went on to win the Old Cup Winners Cup. He was A FINE KEEPER. Rang him with Schmeichel, Van de Saar, De Gea and Harry Gregg. My point is Give the bench sitting Goalkeeper a GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You may not regret it.

All is about stats your personal view is what makes you pass the real keeper. First season and he is already 2nd best keeper with cleansheets in angland. First more decisive keeper in premier league. Aml stats goes to onana so he logically wins. All the rest is just a matter of feelings and attachement. Nothing about reality
