    I started questioning myself a few years ago as to why I could remember things like me buying that hotdog from that one specific Indian guy on that corner 13 years ago, and exactly how I spread the toppings and everything on it. Not trying to be egotistical but I just looked this up and a lot of the symptoms match up with my life experiences 😍 Also, it seems like I’m not alone on the “hard to move on from your past” part

  • @amandamol9050

    I always wondered how my little brother still remembered his past moments. He remembered the exact date, morning or afternoon, how he felt that day, what exactly happened, all the details. He said he could feel exactly what he felt the same day. He's 30 years of age now, and he still remembers some past moments when she was little, teenager, and sometime in past 10 years.
    So this is what it's called "Hyperthymesia". Good to know.

    To those who think of this Gift as a problem, its not, your Powerful, and to harness this gift you need to learn to talk to yourself better. THE BEST thing I did was do an interpersonal counseling course that develops skills to help differentiate between feelings and thoughts that people are talking about... its now no longer all about me being a human video recorder that is saturated with recurring emotions of past and present all day every day.... I have control. Others are the Sheeple and cows and I'm the powerful one.
    Forgiving is letting go by understanding the bigger picture, and yes its obviously a gift of God. I think.

      @jackiec498 Před 2 lety +3

      @@bridgerectifier7711 I would say so. Not in a literal sense though is that what you mean?
      I imagine that remembering everything would be awful. I myself have many regrets, have made many mistakes, and (like many) have been hurt many times. It has taken years of very dangerous self-destructive behavior to forget about some things and move on; reinventing myself after losing people who I found my identity and worth I'm to some extent... having to almost become someone else in order to disconnect and move on from that version of myself.
      I am very grateful for the ability to forget the details of painful memories, as well as to forget blissful memories which were connected to people who are no longer present.

BABY if you care about your kids you are making sure they can read before they go to school and get them to read 2-3 books a day as well as write out their times tables up to 5 times a day till they know it back to front... I was an early childhood teacher 3months- 2years.... and mothers and dads dont sleep much soldier on work your ass off thats the job till ur dead enjoy the drama.
